Thanks, deathgeonous.
I now have enough ideas for a new chapter. Now, I only need to write it

Review of chapter "The Demon and The Slayer" from firedragonboy
Review:
The story is well done. the one thing that iI was wondering about is why Buffy isnt concerned about Joyce/Hild abandoning her and Dawn the minute Willow/Urd needs or acknowledges her? Mara's memories might make that happen. that's my thoghts. so you have no need to pay any atention to this. the story is great as it is under you. so keep up the good work.

Thanks, firedragonboy
I reasoned like this:
a) The first question Buffy is asking herself is what's the Joyce/Hild ratio in the composite being she became.
b) Even if Joyce is almost pure Hild, Mara knows exactly how scheming, possessive and overbearing Hild is (enough to put the most traditional of Mafiosi to shame). Buffy therefore plans on the fact that if Hild did not stop trying to convert Urd after centuries or even millennia, she will not abandon her other daughters, an action that would negate any effort to convert Willow.
c) Joyce is actually spending quality time with them and gave Buffy her word that they were still a family. And Hild told once to Keiichi (when Urd called her to undo Whelsper's curse): my word is law.

Looking good! A great read as always! And now we have Noir! Cool! Hope to see both main female charactors. Hope the next chapter you get out though will be for TTC. I'm really looking forward to some Gould and NID butt kicking!

So I'm guessing that Stargate is going to play a part? Can I say, ^Oh, Shoot! They're in for one hell of a time.^?
Comments from author:
Actually, Stargate is a crossover I cannot use in this story without contradicting myself on 2 occasions
Chapter 1: Tokimi notes that the adventures of the SGC are, in this timeline, a TV show
Chapter 4: Jessica 'Bast' Harris associated Ancient Egyptian with the show.
And a Stargate crossover is also something I'm already doing in Traveller Chronicles. Note that as Buffy dressed up as Ryoko, Dawn as Sasami and Joyce as Washu in this story...
So, here, the Egyptian references are not related to Stargate, but rather to how the Egyptian mythology can relate to the occult war in the Buffyverse.

let see so whistler is either going to shit his pants or is vaporized. Shouldn't Xander be able to see through more than just walls and clothes possibly spy on the watchers or the wolfram and hart firm in la .so basically all of the gods and demons are walking talking nukes as the clock moves closer to midnight. so Apophis and the Shinning Ones aren't the Goa'uld . using Hindu as Pantheon. nut other than that more!!!

Thanks kyro,
Xander can indeed do a lot, but he doesn't have the same 'luck' as Buffy regarding leftover memories. You will see more about him later.
No Goa'uld in this story (Or Xander would have a major problem). Apophis just the name Akhenaten used to describe something he saw in his vision. As for what, it has to do with the mythological Apophis.
As for the gods' power... there is still the slight issue of collateral damage when you start to use Akira-level effects...
