Review of chapter "Chapter One" from nytmare
Review:
This was pretty interesting, I'm not familiar with the cross over show, will have to do some wiki searching.

One big mistake you made though, and this has probably been pointed out already, is that the moon does not rotate in relation to the earth, we always see the same face.

Unless I missed something, Xander and Harmony forgot one thing - the nuclear waste dumps.

If they do exist, then there's a chance that the moon could go bye bye in less than two years.

They don't have much choice but to seek outside help.

Review:
They need tge computer teacher and Cordelia at least.
With these two they might be able to by up a certain factory complex in Sunnydale, that would help them upgrade their stuff as well as.

Which other Sci-fi universe are you crossing this with?
If it's Stargate, let them find the Antartica outpost and stargate.
Since there were several dead jaffa near that gate, weapon and armor samples to study.

But who could they contact for such a thing?
Rodney McKay his sister? ;)
They would need crew-members, but the hellmouth in Sunnydale can't be left unguarded, so they can't drain to many people away.
But they might be able to use it as a hidden libriary for the more dangerous books.

So what happend to Buffy?
She dead or not?
That could change the whole game.

Heh, the Tok'ra from Stargate would love that base, it's were no system lord would ever search.

Interesting. If you decide to continue I would be very pleased.

And that didn't sound elitist at all. *sigh*

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Midnmax

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon

The Moon is in synchronous rotation: it rotates about its axis in about the same time it takes to orbit the Earth. This results in it nearly always keeping the same face turned towards the Earth.

Nice work, that brings back some memories :) I like how you had a bit of a different approach with them both convinced that their faces were their own. And then with the updated memories from the 2nd series arriving when they started moving through the moonbase. Even more confusing for them than a normal YAHF! I also liked how they responded to the situation by using the experience given them by their memories. Thinking about what use might be made of the moonbase and its tech by the various nations of Earth, and how they are less attached to their own current America because of the years of memories of other countries, a united Earth and a spacebase floating alone in the night.
One thing you might want to change is the rotation of the moon. The moon doesn't rotate with respect to Earth, we always see the same face. You could get the same effect though by saying that the moonbase is on the light (near) side of the moon, or that the huge defence satellite you mention would still be visible to people on Earth very easily. Or you could say the moonbase is not visible from Earth and have them stay hidden a lot longer. I wonder what Xander and Harmony will say when someone tries to contact them? Will they declare the moon an independant nation or try to trade access for protection to one of the world powers?

Saw this on Spacebattles, and I have got to say while I have practically no idea what you've crossed BTVS with but you have me hooked. I will be following this brilliance.

Review:
Very interesting: I hope you continue this fic/universe. It looks like it has quite an interesting premise.

Both series ended shortly before I was born, so I only know the basics about them, but you did pretty well at not including any 'assumed knowledge' into the fic. One thing I would like to point out, however, is to do with your line about the moon rotating enough for Moonbase to be visible to the planet below. The moon is tide-locked; that is, it rotates at the same rate as it orbits Earth, so the same face is always towards the planet. Anything built on the dark side (that is, the far side) will remain invisible to the planet unless satellites or overflight are used for direct viewing.

Other than that, it looks like a good start; it would be interesting to find out what happened to the organisation, why it was abandoned and why no-one knows about the 'secret history' of the war, if the buried Hawk is an indication that it wasn't just created by the chaos magic.

Great work! :)

Really mixed feelings about this story. Great writing of a Halloween event and and an interesting connection between SHADO and Space 1999, which I didn't know. The downside is for reminding me just how old I am since I have vague recollections of UFO on tv and clearly remember Space 1999.

Well done and I will be interested to see how you can develop this. Thanks.
