I love the story... Just a small correction though, nothing major... It's not Ralph... It's Raph, as in a shortened version of Raphael.

Edit: Also, it's Mikey, as in Mike-y, not Mickey as in Mouse.

It could have been worse, I kept wanting to spell 'Mikey' as 'Mickie'! Correction made. :)

I like this story, I really do. but i'm very sad that you killed one of my favorite characters right when you introduced her. I didn't expect the story to get so grim, what with killing people off every other chapter now... still I hope to see more.

Yeah I know where you're coming from. I really did consider if I needed to kill April off, I hadn't even planned for Raph and co to be in the story originally. This all started with trying to figure out how to bring in Daredevil with something a bit longer then "We've been looking for you I'm...".
I stuck with it for two reasons, 1) Most crossovers has the introduction of Whedon's characters as clearly being a good thing and I to make that debatable in my story. 2)Confusion over who was the real target.
Things will lighten up over the next couple chapters but unfortunately things will have to get grim again once the First shows up.

Enjoying the story quite a bit, kinda nice to see Cap go dark.

Fair point. In this world Fury got her out of jail several months before the First turns up. I am going to start to bring this story back in line with the Whedon universe pretty soon, got a couple of more chapters in mind before I actually swing it back into that world. Plus I'm still working out who from the Marvel universe is coming along for the ride :)

I do approve. One minor thing. They call Raphael Raph, not Ralph.

The constant use of 'where' for 'we're' is Really distracting. I don't know of any dialects where they sound the same, so i assume that's a spell checking error. Also, missing words and wonky punctuation. Premise and characters are interesting, presentation issues are enough that i think I'll stop here though. Clean up those issues and i figure it looks pretty good though.

Well at least you found it interesting that's a start. I admit I had been a bit slack when it came to fine tuning chapters especially in the early chapters like this one which makes me wonder how many people have been put off because of it. Finally got the printer set up so this should not be a major issue going forward.

A well written and in some ways more realistic ending to the movie.

I hate to say it, but the constant use of "are" instead of "our" really ripped me out of the story. It took it from a nice, intriguing scene, and turned it just to words on a page.

Safety on? Ouch. Stakes never have that problem. So, a few down, a few hundred to go. Easy! Faith really needs to get with the times and learn about guns a little more. And yes, light armor of some kind. Same for CA. Then again in the comics I think it's mentioned his costume was some kind of chain mail/armor mesh. at least he has his shield.
I wonder if he might run into someone (as a vamp) that he knew back in the 30s or 40s?
