so wait, is there like some dimensional fusion going on here, Babydoll and friends cross over through various dimensions that are blending into hers, releasing large amounts of mana into the surrounding area, causing the foursome to back off of Xander as they bask in the upsurge of high mana fields pulsing outwards, empowering xander and allowing him to break out and cause panic and pandemonium, chaos thine name is xander . . . wonder what would happen if he invoked the name of Janus and brought down attention upon himself in a world without gods?

Very cool: it's always fun when Xander's posessions work together to give him a hand ... now I want to know what they saw through the binoculars ... is he seeing the way Babydoll is being treated? Or maybe just any of the girls? Garunteed to get his blood up either way ...

Wouldn't the Sucker Punch world be a high mana world, too? There's at least one supernatural entity in the topmost level of the framework story, one there's no way Baby Doll could have known about - the bus driver, aka the Archangel. Also, her plan was never really her plan - it always seemd to be directly inspired in her for the sake of (oops, any more would be spoilers)

Given how confusing the film is (fantasies within fantasies? -- that's really pushing it), it's entirely possible for it to be in fact completely prosiac among Babydoll's traumas. Or if you like, with all the dimensions out there, Xander could genuinely be in a low mana world in this differing version of the original film. Anyway, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
