And I love your explanation of where Buffy's head is right now, it makes total sense (let's just say I was writing a whole bunch of smut in my head while reading that for my smutlet thing and I was like, "But why is Buffy not reciprocating?!" Lol) and I can't wait to see something blossom between those two - for those two to help each other! As well as how Spike's presence will play out in the next chapter. Okay, I'm done. :P

Okay B great second chapter but stop teasing already! I love the fleshed out memmories/peices that you had mentioned in Pillars of Salt and how you sort of Dreamversed/ visionversed it into this new story. As always you have the coiling tension and the plot heat building, but you have to move the plot along soon or you are gonna end up with a story that bleeds togeather. I am so glad to see you back in the game!

Oh my gosh, B... seriously, that is the epic feedback and advice because that is exactly what I'm going for since it's from Dean's POV. But worry not! It will come to a head in the next two chapters that will explain what's happening to poor Dean. As per usual, I fail at writing stories that stand alone-ish chapter-wise. I'm much more of a "novel" writer where you have to keep reading for things to make sense, lol. Thank you, thank you for the wonderful feedback, as per usual. I always get giddy when I see your reviews, you have such insight into the stories. Hopefully not such a long lull between chapters after this drought.

Excellent kick off to this section of your series! I just reread pillars of salt to jig my memory and i enjoyed it so much, reading it all in one go highlighted to me how much i enjoyed the pace of the story, It ended on such a cliff hanger i couldn't wait to read this new part and this first chapter didn't disappoint. You've got me wondering what's going on with buffy as she's just so dark. I adore the way you write dean. Your able to communicate the things that motivate him and torture him effortlessly. Im really looking forward to reading how this part of the journey plays out :-)

I'm so nervous about what's up with Buffy though, and the only thing I can think of is that when Zachariah removed the other worlds Buffy's souls he might have removed both soul's to make her even more uncaring. Or... oooh... Is she looking for Willow to get Sam back, though the torture bits pretty hardcore, even for this dimensions Buffy. I'm so very intrigued right now!!!! You just keep me guessing!!! Love it!!!
