I'm enjoying this story a lot. I look forward to seeing what you do with it.
I do have a question, however, are you going to be giving us another side story that tells Xander's and Ethen's tale in the alternate universe? Or will we be getting that as chapters interspersed into this story?
My guess so far is that it's the latter, given that you've listed Stargate as a crossover. Unless Ethen Giles had some connection to it before the transfer.
Thanks for the new chapter. Looking forward to more.

Thought - I was hoping this story would continue. Question - From the looks of this, isn't this more adopting the idea and writing a story about the other half of the original concept? Concern - My question may be mistaken as I don't want to see this continue.

I will be working both sides. You don't have to worry about that. I just thought that it might be a good time to show where the two got sent.

Review of chapter "Chapter Nine" from Studyofchaos
Review:
All I can say is... Darn! This was such a different take and nicely written as well. Thanks for the excellent read. Hopefully either you "relent" and continue or a suitable author picks this great story up.

If I weren't already doing my own YAHF, I'd be up for requesting a takeover. Re Angel, I went for quick'n'simple immolation/exorcism, but I can see woodchipper as a viable alternative. I can almost see a 'South Park' style collection, where the PTB keep bringing him back to be offed in ever more creative ways.
Did you have an actual planned idea of what happened to the original Ethan and Xander? Because I could see scenarios ranging from sixteen year old Xander/Ethan coping with two six year old demon-spawn magelets, through to Xander in Ethan Giles' body with one very startled chaos mage in tow, possibly non-corporeal. Let's face it, he'd make a great poltergeist.

I admit that I jumped to the end and have missed a few middle chapters. This is a good stopping point. Giving some hope that the "essence" of Xander might exist somewhere displaced in the multiverse, and giving Giles a good, reliable friend.

Evil evil evil author... I'd love to adopt but I'm running to many of my own stories at once and finals are next week.... *pout*
As for throwing Angel into a wood chipper set on toothpicks... good idea. Personally I only recently used a micro explosive embedded in his temple for an instant dusting experience.

No David Boreanaz fans? But what if we like Seely Booth but hate Angel? > : D
Comments from author:
That does have possibilities....
Ethan might come back with the entire, newly-reformed Council supporting him, dispose of Wilkins, and then he and his forces discreetly leave town. In the process, Angel dies a presumably gallant death (well, the small heap of ashes identified as his last remains doesn't have a big, yellow puddle of urine next to it). Buffy is naturally inconsolable about this, until the FBI sends a task force into a California city to find out why nobody ever noticed this place had a murder rate higher than the country's three main population centers combined. Once a certain blonde girl catches sight of an unique forehead, it'll be a hilarious episode of the Stalker Slayer and a horrified agent fleeing from the determined, VERY underage young lady wanting a decidedly unsuitable, career-wrecking relationship with His-Name-Is-Weirder-Than-Mine Booth.
