I love this series! I don't know about the Harrison name, but Ms. Honey was the teacher from Matilda. It's one of those movies my mom was SO tired of watching with me. Great job!!! Keep it up!!!

I was actually glad to see that Buffy had missed something like that, it shows she is not the perfect mother but a real person. Very sad to see Emma worrying that her shortsightedness wouldmake her bad. I think Buffy should join in some quality glaring at that other kid!
With a teacher like Miss Honey (from Matilda?) Emma should have a great year at school!

That was a cute story. I liked that Emma turned out to be excited about wearing glasses.
BTW, Kindergarten in the States is usually the year before first grade (age 5-6) and preschool before that.

Harrison, I'd thought Harrison Ford.

Ms Honey was Mathilda's school teacher in 'Mathilda' by Roald Dahl, I think... Unless you're referring to something completely different... Not so sure about Harrison.

Yep, that was who inspired Ms Honey's name (she's Miss Honey in Matilda of course!). Harrison, well, just think on who young Nick (August/Pinocchio) might be finding inspiring on screen in the late eighties, and what might appeal to someone who was brought up, for a little while, in a fairy tale world... Maybe he should have suggested Mark? Or Luke?
