Wow. Your story conveys the saying there are two sides to every story very nicely. The slayers are the good guys but they won't watch out for wizardkinds interests. The ministry is bad and Voldemort's worse but they all have there uses.
Is Voldemort's strength going to wear off, kinda like a vampire who drained a slayer?
Are the Scoobies going to realize that with his soul still on Earth Voldemort can resurrect himself?

Fantastic, well written, and well thought out story.

Ok, everything went about like I thought it should or would. But the one little exception, is the fact Buffy didn't take what was left of Voldies body. Nor Willow deciding to check to see where his soul went. They know he's not average demonly thing. So I find it a little hard to except that they won't be more in depth with distorying him. But at least when he shows up again, they will know what he is. A litch. Something Andrew would know all about. Still they did kill the dementors, and grabbed some of the thugs.

So they can work on them, perhaps get a little info out of them. Harry is still the wild card in this. As Albus seems to be trying to send him on the kill the items with the soul pieces. Because now Voldie is going to try and stay out of the Slayers way. But all things considered that shouldn't last long. As we all know Vamipires brag like teenage boys after sex. This whole set of wars however does give Harry a much needed. Smoke screan of shorts as no ones paying any attention to him. That means he can go and end the soul pieces. With little to no interfearance. As Tommy doesn't feel it when they go boom.

Still I feel like Buffy and Willow were writen a bit slopy as it comes to Tom. Granted they have a lot on there minds, and don't know about his stats as a Litch. Still using Buffy's blood couldn't be good long term. Buffy is a prime being of exterem power and will power. She's also female which is what the slayer has always been. Because males go insane from the power and act like random ragging monsters. Which Voldie could end up doing as well.

Over all I'm not compleatly sure how this all plays out. Nor how I feel about it. As I consider Buffy very intelagant, even if she hides it. Willow also seemed to have wised up a bit more since season seven too. Again I don't know how I feel about this. But I'll really want Willow to bring in Paton to crush the frack out of the wand users. That or a few other well known Generals who knew how to get the job done. Teach Tom to use Litch ablities. Really he's just a cheap rip off of a Litch and not nearly as powerful as one.

Wipe out all the morons with Paton, Sherman and who ever else they need. (FYI I really hate the wand users in Harry Potter's UK. They are so damned stupid and racist, its enough to make you wonder how they continue to breath.) Still if things don't end with Paton or Sherman laying a smack down on the Wizards. I'll be most unhappy.

Well, if anyone ever wants to see a group more prone to hypocrisy, myopia, self righteousness, willfully ignorant black & white thinking, and highhanded interference than the Ministry of Magic, Scoobies can and most certainly will deliver.

The whole 'might makes right' thing works out pretty well when you've got super infallible Willow in your corner, I guess.

They may not be reasons she agrees with, but they're there, and it's not a good idea to wage a campaign without understanding why those people are fighting.

They damn well understand why these people are fighting. They are fighting because both sides in the wizarding wolrd are basically slime, pure and simple. Neither side of the wizarding "war" means to do rest of the human race any good, so it's better to squash them before either side gets the chance to do any real harm.

Personally I'ld like to see Willow resurrect William Tecumseh Sherman and let him lose on the wizarding world.

It's the only way to be sure.

I really had hoped you would not go the cheesy Hollywood way but the signs are not good. Good guys always dumber then the bad guys; giving the bad guys second and third chances. Sigh. Willow researches better then anyone and she has not found out about the Horcruxes?

One reason I have higher standards for Fanfiction is that WE should not bow to the lowest common denominator like Hollywood does. Dumb it down and so on. Sadly you look like you are doing just that.

Okay they need to figure out that Moldyshorts isn't dead...but at least they aren't dealing with hordes of Dementors, maybe a few scattered around.

Great chapter!

Tom.

This may lead to much, much badness. Extremely much badness. I do hope that the Scoobies will find out, and not in the worst way, soon. This cannot be good in ever so many ways... Did this just cost Voldemort a Horcrux? Or aren't they destroyed when he needs to reincorporate again and again?

Thanks for writing

Review:
Well, Xander at least is trying hard to see the forest for the trees and understands that this isn't a "see monster, kill monster" situation. Sounds like he (and Giles) may be the ones who find a better solution for an entire society for people.

As for Buffy and Willow, well, they were certainly right that Voldemort would betray her, and they get top marks for preparing well beforehand, but...after all was said and done, he's not only stronger now, but he's also learned more about them, and knows for sure about several things they've revealed that he needs to learn more about. To top it off, they think he's dead, which gives him the time he will need to do all that.

All in all, pretty much a solid win for Team Evil here, unfortunately.

> “I think so. Just how twisted a mind could he have had?"

You would think, by now at least, that no Scooby would ever taunt Murphy that way. Next, Willow will be using the W-word. And after that? Who knows?
