This has been an enjoyable read though I am curious as to how Buffy made it there :-) I loved imagining her laughing in his face, refusing to be shamed or bullied away, standing her ground and helping in all the ways she knows how.
I loved how you described how they all watched and treated her, how Fili and Kili talked to her and how they weren't the ones who worried him! I shall have to read all of them :-) hope you keep writing Hobbit verse I am on the lookout haha :-)

Ok... I read The Pale Enchanted Gold before this. I really love your writing! I just love how you write Bilbo as a protective brother, but still keep him true to character. I am still sticking to the idea that you should make a prequel of sorts, but I can tell you like to write short stories (Which are fantastic). Maybe Thorin's pov or Buffy/Buttercup... I just really enjoy this storyline that you have created! =)
Okay, I tried to wait until after I've watched the movie to read this fic, but I failed. And I'm glad. I absolutely loved the hinted dynamics between Buttercup and Bilbo and what's happening with Buttercup and Thorin. I hope that there are a whole lot more sequels to come!

Wonderful to see your writings in my inbox once again. Just a note though, first you name this Hobbit!Buffy Belladonna and then in the last paragraph her name has changed to Buttercup.
Fantastic story :-) I love the premise of it as well as the pairing of Thorin and Buttercup... Having just seen the movie, Thorin really stood out as someone with presence and character enough to compliment our heroine. I sincerely hope you continue with a few more one shots or chapter long stories with scenes from the movie with this couple.

I would absolutely love to see it turn into a full story, or like a sequel be a full story of their adventure or something? It would be really interesting to see. And I can totally see Thorin and Hobbit!Buffy as a pairing. I really want to see more of this!

At least she has to be more intelligent than her namesake. Oh, I watched the film just a few hours ago and could not help myself but read this story. Hope there will be sequels.
I loved this! When I watched the premiere I was thinking of crossover potential and could definitely see Buffy on the trip and something happening between her and Thorin. I hope you continue :)
Oh I liked this. I enjoyed Bilbo's POV & I really liked the implications of Thorin ignoring (or trying to ignore) her. And the younger Dwarves fascination with her makes for interesting possibilities.
