Review of chapter "The North wind blows southerly" from HMaxMarius
Review:
Ray might want to read a bit of McCaffrey... maybe consider riding straps... falling off your mount is a good way to get hurt! =D (Too bad Dragonriders isn't allowed due to her fanfic rules... dragon combat in the skies would be cool... maybe someone could bring in Eragon ;) )
Princess Diana eh? Makes me wonder who she might be in 'League' with :)

I don't blame Ray a bit, because I almost fell out of my chair. This could be fun to watch.

Now that should be interesting. *grin* And Ray's never been a coward. If his old partner's going into battle, so is he.

Let the cry go forth for one and all to hear : AMAZONS TO ARMS! It is time, for the northern strike to come and come soon. The Demons have been focusing on spreading south, east and west. Now, NOW they face a threat from the north. And with Princess Diana *Yes, I got the Wonder Woman reference!* leading the charge with her mother, its time the demons learned something that they have not felt in a VERY long time: FEAR!!!!

And now we have the Wonder Woman joining the fight. Who's next, Batman? ROFL just kidding.
But she'd better drop that red, blue and gold and throw on some ACUs if she wants to look the part in this, our modern age of the 21st Century ...not kidding there.
Comments from author:
Well, considering the company she's now riding with, she probably already exchanged the spandex for leather - and actually, her new costume design wouldn't look that out of place beside Xena and Gabrielle (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Wonder_Woman_New_52_Jim_Lee.jpg) It is a little more colourful than Xena's armour, but not much more ...
As for looking the part? She's about to go up against the hordes of hell - and she knows she'll be seen as a figurehead and a rallying point, and all that sort of stuff. Like Capt America, camo just isn't her style!

Review:
Now that these other battlestars have shown up, I think that it's time that they consider pulling the Galactica from active service.
The Galactica was retired for a reason. She was a tired old ship with inherent structual defects. For what it would have cost to refurbish her in time and resources, a new Battlestar could have been built.
Frankly, I think they should strip the Galactica of everything usable and scrap her. If the decision is made to refurbish her, limit it to what would be necessary for day to day operations on a limited scale.
Comments from author:
The Old Lady, will not be scrapped. She will be given a complete overhaul and kept in service. After the emergency most likely as a training ship. However the ship masters will use her a teaching ship to construct battlestars faster and correctly. What the Colonial Defense contractors did to her when building her will serve as an example of what not to do.

Makes one wonder just how many ships escaped the Cylon Holocaust back in the Colonies and if anymore will find the Rift into this Stargate-Buffyverse? I think there will be a Nuremberg type trial soon. I wonder if Cavil will be tired at the Hague or somewhere else.
Comments from author:
Roslyn will recuse herself as she can not be unbiased and would airlock Cavil without a second thought. It could be the Hague, or Nuremburg. The art of statecraft will be in play here

Its good to see that people are thinking about what can be done, with the sea invasion coming soon, on what is going on with the land battle and how to contain the demons, if not send them back. And, once I get a certain book in, I WILL not only get my Black Ops team going right, but also fill in a little background on how this school and its squad came to be.

Review of chapter "WITH THE ADMIRAL'S RESPECTS" from Harry
Review:
Its a good idea to get the Galactica in for repairs now. Even with Airwolf's capabilities that have been augmented by the Colonialists, airpower is something that is going to be badly needed. You can't expect to make a naval assault without air power. No Way, NO HOW!
Comments from author:
In point of fact the Air Wing of an Infinity-Class ship includes a squadron of ten Cheron-Class Light Frigates and their respective Air Wings. I can so imagine that the air space over Ohio is not getting dangerous for the Dragons and other flying denizens of the Hell dimensions. You have Colonial Vipers, Cylon Raiders and Heavy Raiders, F-302s, Tie Fighters, X-Wings, etc. flying air support besides the various US, Canadian, and now British atmospheric fighters. I think Task Force Midway has quite a few hundred or thousand UNSC fighters (I haven't totaled the amount of fighters in the Air Groups and Air Wings of each UNSC capital ship.)

Review:
A Mr. Fixit who is able to explain things to Adama? This man has just earned MY respect! Now, with the new group arriving, hopefully, the Galactica can make it in for the repair work needed without taking away from her purpose as the equivalent of a Aircraft Carrier in the Terran Navy.
Comments from author:
Bill understands that as a ship commander he does not know everything about his ship. That is where qualified officers help the commander and inform him of ships systems and how the systems work. Galactica has not had a true Chief Eng. since the attack. One the Ship is overhauled, there will be one assigned, or Galen Tyrol is getting a battlefield commission

Review:
I think we're thinking alike - because as I was reading this chapter I was thinking that this would be a really bad time for the Goauld to show up, and that that's exactly the kind of thing they'd do.
You're doing a good job on keeping track of everybody, and staying current with multiple threads; which is hard to do in a story like this one. Keep up the good work !

Review:
I wonder who is in command of BG2 and what Battlestars compose her. Could it be Adm. Nagala survived after all? Now would BG2 make the jump from their verse to this Buffy-Stargate Verse? If so will Adm. Adama still be Chief of Staff RSS (Commander in Chief RSS)? Will the Galactica get the dock time it so desperately needs, will Earth eventually build its own Battlestars and Basestars? Hmmm... It seems to this reader that Code Ragnarok is changing the Earth of this deminsion. I wonder if Adm. Adama and RADM Orinski have talked yet, perhaps I should put something up as the Space Service should include TF Midway of the UNSC since it will remain after TF Infinity returns to its home universe.

Oh heck no! John Cavil gets airlocked, boxed and the box gets ejected BEFORE that fleet crosses the rift...
Last thing the demons need is exposure to 'resurection technology' and the inclusion of Genocidal unkillable maniacs in their ranks...
Comments from author:
Spoilers. Remember a previous comment that the Cylons were going have to face a war crimes commission. The two, three, six's and eights in BG 2 floitilla conducted a little civil war and cleaned house of all other models expect John Cavil. The RES ship with the fleet is cut off from Cavil. All other models with those ships are boxed. John Cavil will face Trial as a War Criminal, yet Earth does not know this yet. The Hague will be busy. Once they pass through the rift, they are also cut off from the RES Hub. There is More, yet Spoilers.

Review of chapter "THE RARELY USED RESERVE ACTIVATION..." from DarthTenebrus
Review:
Stop me if I'm wrong, but would not an enemy ship captured by the British Naval Service be rechristened with "HMS"? In this case, the Sith vessel ISS Dominator, though captured as a prize under international law when Thanaton went rogue, would it not henceforth be the HMS Dominator?
Edit: 3% of the value of the HMS Dominator is £5 trillion in gold? Exactly how did the prize court determine the value of the vessel? And is anyone in the British government aware that the Sith government is in another universe entirely? Someone's going to have to go there and speak before the Dark Council, and that's just a disaster waiting to happened.; the Empire will send a whole ARMY to Earth along with who knows how many Dark Lords!
Unless they'd rather just deal with the crew of the Dominator...
Edit/Reply 16June2013 -- Interesting thought about the rift (not barrier). Homeworld Command could get the specs from the late Illuminator's science team on the dimension drive and equip one of their Daedalus-class vessels with the tech...they do use a naqadah reactor in their engines, yes? That ought to give them more power to funnel into their gravity field generators, which would in turn allow them to open a rift with the same quantum signature as the "Star Wars" universe without losing power once they pass through. Then it's on to Dromund Kaas and the Dark Council.
Hope they are well-armed when they get there...their fictions and the example of Darth Thanaton have shown that Sith Lords simply cannot be trusted.
Comments from author:
You are right if this was the case. HM government will want to give the Sith Empire the chance to repurchase the ship at a substantial cost to their treasury. The goal is to make the Sith government pay 5,000,000,000,000 GBP in Gold for the following Reasons
1. Pays for the costs of the war. 2. pays off the national debt Restoring Britain's Credit raiting 3. Establishes a treasury for the colonial nation 4. makes every person in the colonial fleet forces rich. Salvage fee is what the prize court determines which is according to Lloyds of London Salvage contract 3% of ship value. you do the math.
Reply: A courier ship will be dispatched through the barrier and will get to DK. The Dark Council will hear of Thanatons misdeeds and disassociate themselves. If they want the ship back, the council knows that statecraft where they responded to a emergency and attempted to interfere in local affairs. The Council will want this to go away. The Dark Council will allow HM government keep the Dominator or pay close to the asking price in gold. As regards the 3% The Ship is valued at 5 Trillion GBP the 3% is calculated from that. The Colonal fleet would reap 150 Bn GBP
