Glad you enjoyed the story. Any sequel is entirely up to my muse's whims.

I can't believe I haven't already reviewed this, buddy. Allow to correct that oversight now.
I love the twist, and really liked the fact that Hermione didn't angst about her change, just shrugged and grinned (the shrug making Harry very aware that his best friend was a girl *GRIN*), and proceeded to unleash holy hell on the death munchers! And I agree with one of the prior reviewers, I can see this version of Hermione tossing Harry over her shoulder and heading off to the 7th Floor.
Hope your muse decides to tell more of this story

Thanks for reviewing buddy, it's always appreciated. ;-)
And I had Harry behaving in much the same way as I did when I was a teenager - hormonally driven to drool over any good-looking female in the area, more than a little bit sarcastic and somewhat arrogant and self-centered. I just got into different kinds of trouble than he did, and I didn't have have an undying sociopath trying to kill me. (I just had ordinary sociopaths (and other members of my family) trying to hospitalize me, but not kill me. ;-)
I'm waiting on my muse's whims about whether there will be any more to this one. (She's never liked Umbridge, so I wouldn't be too surprised to see more eventually showing up.)

In addition to my previous comments, it occurs to me that the Death Eaters who survive here are going to have real problems since Lucius Malfoy won't be around to fertilize their release with lavishings of gold and Draco's entirely too ignorant to know who to deal with and how much to pay. Too, it should be rather "educational" to see Narcissa's reaction to all of this. I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing a sequel or two to this as you explore the results effects of this event.

This would definitely shake a lot of things up in the ass-backwards kingdom of idiots that Dumbledore is so concerned with.
There are lots of people back at Hogwarts who are going to have to learn to restrain themselves very quickly, or they're going to be seeing Poppy very frequently.

Heh, this was a neat shot here, and could indeed see the similarities with JEn and Hermione, both normal persona are a bit bookish and shy, while their Hulk personalities are outgoing to the max, and why do I have this image after they get back to school of Hermione picking up Harry and skipping off to the ROR for some quality time together.
Oh, you know, why would I have this image in my head of LUna maybe taking a trip with Hermione to the States, and when they meet the super villain The Rhino, Luna tries to bag and tag this version of the smooth horned Snorkack?
Comments from author:
Maybe you're thinking that because Jen's alter ego is a lot more assertive than her basic one?
Harry should be so lucky. ;-)

*snort* *guffaw* Oh, dear gawd, that's going to make a very interesting change in things. One thing for certain, pink is simply going to *clash* with green and I doubt Umbitch is going to have any more success than Tom did. What should be rather fascinating is to watch how Albus and the rest of wizarding Britain, at a minimum, take to having "Hermione 2.0" among them, especially when she can take 'bout anything they can dish out. One thing you can definitely say, though, is that she made a lasting impression on Tom.
Comments from author:
Yeah, Hermione impressed him - through his face and all the way up to her elbow. ;-)
I'm personally wondering what Dumble-fart is going to do now, since Tom is seriously lacking a body for harry to confront. ;-)

You made me laugh. Good for you. If I were one of the Slytherin students attending Hogwarts, I would definitely not want to make Hermione mad. They wouldn't like it if she got mad. Lol!
Comments from author:
I somehow think that Malfoy will continue his ass-hat ways.
At least until he wakes up in the infirmary after falling up and then down twelve flights of stairs in the castle, that is. ;-)
