Not bad at all. After the way the Avengers decimated thos guys in the battle of Manhattan, there must have been a few hundred of these lying around - somebody was sure to see the business potential in that. Andrew might have gotten a discount if he'd bought in bulk.

There's a short of the Avengers DVD about those items -- they claim that 47 of them left. I thought that was a bit low myself. Anyway, thanks for reviewing!

"Buffy..." The older man's expression became pained.

"B..b..Buffy?" The man in the hall blanched. "And you are?"

"Rupert Giles..."

There was a loud thump as the SHIELD agent collapsed in a heap.

Two hours later, a pale, confused Agent Sitwell was on the phone. "Director. Ah I was unable to recover Lot 48."

The phone in his hand glowed with the heat generated by the speaker on the far end. "AND WHY EXACTLY ARE YOU UNABLE TO COMPLETE YOUR MISSION /AGENT/?"

Sitwell began to tremble, caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. "Uh SHIELD Directive 79, sir."

"And exactly HOW does /non-interference/ with the Watcher's Council apply."

"The weapon was given to The Slayer as a Christmas Gift sir."

...

"Sir?"

...

"Sir??"
