This is really beautiful. I can feel and see the winter in Minas Tirith, and Faramir trying to puzzle the unknown word as if it were Sindarin... which, by the way, is very clever of you!

Oh, wow! Lovely. I am absolutely mad for Aragorn/Buffy pairings, so this was wonderful to see. (I am still convinced Ebb with be a A/B pairing, and that is my headcanon until you say otherwise). You know, I think you bring home in this fic what kind of person Faramir really is. Rather than cursing the fate that made her older than him, or in his life at the wrong time, he takes pleasure in her happiness. I adore the idea that she was his queen long before the title was hers by rights. This is pretty much one of the reasons I ship Aragorn and Buffy, because to me she will always be a queen.
If you wanted to expand this fic, maybe add Buffy's POV and explain why she did not age and how she met and fell for Aragorn, that would be amazing. So glad you are writing LOTRs fic again.
