Odds are there were a few other slayer survivors, they were scattered all over the world... but no way to find them. The Conclave has made some bad enemies here. If the escaped Transgenics get organized as per the show, but with Buffy & Dru in there also, it could get tough for the C.

I normally don't read Dark Angel/BtVS crosses. I think they are such different universes most of the time they just don't meld for me. Your story is an interesting exception.

I like that the Pulse in your universe was caused by a Wish and not an orbiting nuke. I am hoping not all the Scoobies were killed and maybe a few Slayers survived. But if not, your pairing of Dru and Buffy is not only unusual, weird, and really out there, but oddly endearing and you have my attention and interest.

I hope Dru and Buffy can help the transgenetic soldiers stop the upcoming apocalypse and have some fun doing it. Your story starts with them both sort of burnt out and I loved seeing them both kick some butts. However, I'd much rather see them kick some Big Bads' butts than some poor underpaid mundane cops' butts.

You had me curious from chapter 1 but the last 2 chapters finally got my interest.
Buffy and Dru fighting against the apocalypse, sounds like a great time.

This is out of left field and totally awesome. Buffy and Dru with a soul hooking up is great. The pace is fast and exciting, hope you can keep it up.

Looks to me that Buffy and Dru may have been source material for Manticore's little bio-genetics science project.

That actually makes a lot of sense -- about Dru being so much more understandable, and about Buffy being with her in both the romantic and partnership way. Nice work.

ok, so it's an alternate reality. They get captured and...boy will the people who have them be puzzled. Dru-vampire. Makes no scientific sense at all. Worse is Buffy--superhuman (like "Max" etc) but there zero genetic basis/reason for it. No animal DNA, should be a normal girl. Did their arrival start up the Pulse? Or do they get blamed for it?

That's a weird pairing, to say the least. Dru must have gone sane or something? A sane Dru who wasn't evil (well, mostly) would be terrifyingly effective. Yep, Jedi mind tricks, visions of the future, all that. And they already know about the Conclave, wow.

Dru's come a long way in terms of coherence and functionality since the last time we saw her in Sunnydale in season 5, and it's interesting to see how well she and Buffy work together. Did the Conclave have something to do with helping her become more sane, or will there be another explanation at some point?
