Review of chapter "Galadriel & the Shadow" from Gideon
Review:
Intriguing. Even people with great power can be dissatisfied with who they are.

Thanks for the comment. And yes, this is my point exactly.

I really, really enjoyed this. Very different perspective - fresh. I saw the other comment and wonder if that is what you are going for. If so, I would love to see a follow up. And since the elves are immortal, perhaps Buffy would then find the undying bands after the events of season 5. She would be reunited. It would be lists full of course. But then yanked away. Perhaps that is when her kin would en leave their realm for the first time in thousands of years to venture for her.

Oh yes, the more I imagine it the mo I love it. Will you write more? :)

Thank you for your kind review. I guess I was trying to do something different here, especially since "Hobbit" brought her back to the big screen, and I'm glad to see that I appeared to have pulled it off. However, I doubt that I will write more on this topic: I tried to write several bigger stories of BtVS/LotR crossover variety and they weren't very successful, at least not to me. So for now, this is a stand-alone ficlet.

Interesting perspective ...

That the Lady of Light would be anyone other than what she was simply would not have occurred to me...and now, in another Age of the world when Middle-Earth is no more, she has become the Slayer General Elizabeth Anne "Buffy " Summers ...

Sweet, I wonder why you ended this here; it could have gone on to a point where the memories of Galadriel would awaken in her, and she would somehow realize that in truth she is no longer Buffy but thenceforth Galadriel ...

Thank you for the review. And, well, I've ended it here because I wasn't sure where to go with it: this was largely a stand-alone drabble that didn't fit with most of my stories back then and still doesn't fit with them now.
