Review of chapter "Chapter Nine." from maxthehobbit
Review:
You never disappoint. I'm just trying to figure out whether this series or the series with Willow and Kennedy are better. At any rate I'm looking forward to more Faith in the Army stories, they are all excellent.

Seattle Slayers v Faith in the Army eh?
Personally I go with FITA, the SS fics went a bit OTT here and there and I've been tempted to re-write them but I decided against it.
Anyway, thanks for reading and reviewing.
Cheers, D.

Great story. Funny that the army has a slayer in the ranks and doesn't even know it. And this when there were only 2 in the entire world. She's also the last of the Chosen slayers, if that means anything. SGC in her future? Also hopefully she learns the truth about herself, or part of it. ...
Comments from author:
In, 'I'm Not a Loser' Faith finds something out, I'm not saying what though.
The SGC fic which I've been muttering about since I started this series, how many stories ago? The SGC fic will me about three stories from the end of the series I think. I've got four stories left to write and the SGC one will be one of them. But there's loads of stuff to post before then!
Faith in the Army will certainly be the longest series I've done with 20 stories, 16 of which have been either posted or are waiting to be posted...I've been doing A LOT of writing over the last couple of years.
Thanks for reading, D.

Dude, congatulations for this chapter, It was that awesome. I mean, not only Faith got to shine as a warrior, but she inspired her team to fight the monster and kill it!. And well, here we go to the next part =). Cool fic, see ya!!!.

I loved it. Faith finding her place in the world is pretty awesome. Sorry about missing the various mentions of the creatures that described different individuals. The Rangers aren't trained in friend or foe identification when monsters are concerned so those recruits were murdered.
While I'm disappointed the idiot-in-charge didn't get eaten, I enjoyed the story nonetheless. The minor errors are easily fixed with an editor/proofreader. Glad that you're continuing this series. Looking forward to the next story.

Review of chapter "Chapter Nine." from AndreaMaine
Review:
I liked this story and hope you come up with more tales of Faith as a soldier in the future. I know a weird way to get a crossover with Stargate. Faith is recruited to become part of one of their Army teams (they have them.)
Comments from author:
There's about ten stories already posted after this one and another four or five not posted.

Review of chapter "Chapter Nine." from TheLandYacht
Review:
Excellent story! More more more!
I particularly like your depiction of Faith's first experience (that she can remember) with "ambush cramps". She's got no idea what's goin on so all she knows is PAIN out of nowhere.
As to what people have said about the new rules for females in combat role, the whole reason for pullin her out of (was it Somalia, can't remember) was because of the no-females-in-combat thing...now that those rules are going away...perhaps you can use it to make our girl SHINE!
And yeah, I've read up to the last story to-date "Wild Side".
Please continue, we thirst for more, always more!
Comments from author:
Yemalia, a sort of cross between Yemen and Somalia...Faith will be back in Yemalia at least twice in the near future.

And so it ends. The deathtoll is certainly lower than I was expecting. I hope Burns doesn't get to become an officer. His meeting Faith then would be bad. A pity about Sally Philps though. Good to see Faith take her place in her MOS. Even if it is a dirty job.
Thanks for writing

It may have been the hardest to write, but it may also be the best of the series; certainly it's a competitor. It's a kind of "transition" piece, showing Faith's evolution into the professional soldier she will eventually become. It also has good supporting characters and a really good fight scene. All in all, an excellent job.
