So does Faith now have a Head-buddy like Gaius Baltar and Caprica Six? I keep waiting for her to turn around in Joe's to find herself sitting next to Whistler as well. If the Fleet is getting close to Earth I suspect he's going to show up sooner or later.

Prosthetic, nice. Still not viper capable but it's better than nothing. And Dawn is watching over her. The Scythe was in the markings. It's all connected somehow. Wow, Faith isn't going to be happy once she gets her memories back. Put through hell, and for what, etc. Though she now knows how to train civilians to fight, organize etc. Might come in handy. If she ends up back on Earth fighting the First, I hope you can get at least one person to accompany her back. Kara (she vanished at end of series anyway, so it'd even be sort-of canon). Barolay.... but Faith is likely not that lucky.
So. Next up is finding the 13th colony "Earth", but not our earth? The 5 revealed. Anyway to prevent Dualla from offing herself? I'd like to think Faith's sojourn amongst the colonials at least accomplished some positive change to the base storyline.

Review of chapter "Infection 1/?" from AllenPitt
Review:
huh, if Faith regained her old memories and kept her new ones, she'd be a much much more effective slayer. Slayer powers/instincts/skills + military training and not being crazy . Would be willing & able to use guns, could lead people in battle, all that stuff.
One thing I didn't like about BSG was them arriving on earth 150k years in our past. Present would have been so much more interesting. Not sure if you're going to do that, or "only" bring Faith forward.
Come to think of it, she's a lot like Kara Thrace--there for a purpose, might leave when it's over? If so, and Faith ends up back in Sunnydale, please consider having Kara Thrace arrive with her. That'd be cool. Plus it'd serve to help Faith establish that she's not just crazy. And, imagine Kara reacting to 20th century earth. Ok, early 21st.
If you can squeeze in a Buffybot or something just to freak Kara out, that would be cool, too. Just sayin'. Also Faith should get one of those cool attachments for her off hand, like a sword or mace or something. Or a flashlight, whatever works.

Hmmm.. you've certainly given me a few things to consider. Thanks for the feedback.

Faith without her hand will be a liability to the Scoobies and Mini-Slayers against the First wouldn't she? Else you have a plan for her to be able to fight with only one hand.
Comments from author:
Fighting with one hand is easy if you have a gun. Just saying.

Thanks for sticking with me so far. :D

Good to see Faith making a life for herself without being able to fly, but that last scene with Dawn and Whistler raised several questions about when this actually takes place from the perspective of the Buffyverse...

Still, that's the fun in this kind of story; the chance to learn the answers to the big questions.
Comments from author:
Well I was a HUGE fan of Lost so... yeah i love big questions.

As to the timeframe for Buffy, let's just say it'll probably get a bit more confusing before it really makes sense.

Thanks again.

Review:
This showed some promise, right up until Faith looses her memory and slayer spirit. Now you have a character named Faith added to the BSG universe. This is no Buffy/BSG crossover. Sorry, but please remove the crossover label.
Comments from author:
Sorry you don't like, but as you don't know what's planned for the future of this story, and it doesn't appear that you're a staffer for this site, do not presume that i need instruction from you as how to label my story.

Have a nice day.

btw - since we're so nitpicky, you mispelled 'loses'.

Sucks that Faith lost a limb, of course, but it was definitely a dramatic twist; I look forward to seeing how things progress now that she's taken such a significant knock to who she is as a character (And the relationship with Barolay could be interesting as well).
Comments from author:
As always, your feedback is much appreciated Marcus.

So far her presence hasn't had a huge impact... hopefully things will start to diverge a bit over time? Losing the hand is tough, she can't pilot a viper. It'll be interesting to see what side of the mutiny she comes down on, later on.
Any chance she's one of the 5? That'd get very weird.

You kinda nuked the idea when you got rid of Faith's memories and powers.

Review of chapter "Occupation, Part 1" from cmdruhura
Review:
She pauses briefly as she considers their options. “Forget watching her. While the C-bucs are getting everyone else inside to get settled, I'm going to take her out into the woods and shoot her in the head.”

Faith always did have a unique way of making friends and influencing people.
Comments from author:
Indeed.

Review of chapter "Occupation, Part 1" from AllenPitt
Review:
Hm... well if she's in the group that gets rescued along with Anders et al, being a trained Viper pilot will make her very valuable to the Galactica and/or Pegasus. Not many of those left. Unless she turns out to be a 'hidden cylon', I can just picture Whistler doing that to her (ie being one of the 5 or some such). Kind of sad that she doesn't remember her previous life, but then again she'd slip up at some point and get suspected of being a Cylon, probably.

Abrupt, but some intriguing possibilities, I'll give you that (Just to check, is the 'other catch' Whistler mentioned just a reference to how far Faith is from home, or is there more to it than that?)
Comments from author:
For plot reasons I need to keep the other catch a secret for the time being, but all will be revealed in time. Thanks for reading.
