I had rec'd this a while back but didnt remember it from the title. So, I reread it and loved it just as much!

I would love to see a sequel perhaps a 4 years in with a 2year old and new baby birth and therefore a visit from Uncle Jayne... :-)

Very, very good. Really nailed the voices and true to the characters. The interplay of Jayne and his sister is heartfelt and funny all at the same time. Didn't see the ending coming but of course it was inevitable given the start.

Is it kinda bad that I pictured 'Faith' as Charlie even though this wasn't a crossover?

OMG! I was totally picturing Faith in my mind -- I just couldn't think of any reason for 'Faith' to be there 500 years in the future!
