Review of chapter "Masters and Madmen" from Starfox
Review:
Very good chapter - Humor, Action, and Drama. Loved Dawn's antics, and Cordelia as her babysitter was great fun. Same for Willow meeting Faith. Patrice getting interrogated after Faith told Buffy about the darker side of the Watchers has a lot of potenial too. And Spike is great with DuLac.
Comments from author:
Thank you. Ten year old Dawn is wonderfully liberating to write (Hence I include her so often in my work) Poor Cordelia, her first job ever and baptised in the fires of the sun.

I'm taking a lot of time to deal with these two episodes. I hope that I can speed things up soon with the next episodes and arcs.

Glad you like the gruesome twosome.

Thanks and thanks for reviewing

Woo Hoo!!! 3 active slayers and new (to me) people with magic abilities. Extremely cool so far.
Comments from author:
Thanks. I was (and am) quite fond of the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon.

Review of chapter "Masters and Madmen" from Cordyfan
Review:
A great chapter, with a lot going on.

DuLac has the makings of a very interesting and potentially dangerous Big Bad, even in the absence of Spike and Drusilla.

Cordelia sitting Dawn was really funny - she didn't have a clue what she was letting herself in for, either with Dawn or the Bug Man. Good to see that she has a healthy fear of both Joyce and Buffy (though she'd probably never admit to the latter).

This Angel seems even more stupid than the canon version, if that's possible.

Looking forward to seeing how things work out with Patrice.

Thanks for writing this.
Comments from author:
Thanks. DuLac is a mad scientist. They're wonderful as Big Bads.

Poor Cordelia, scarred for life. And with the elder Summerses after her, scared for life too...

Angel does tend to show overconfidence whiledealing with Spike I noticed.

Well, Joyce is going to take her on a date and there probably will be kissing involved. ;-)

Thanks and thanks for reviewing

Review of chapter "Masters and Madmen" from (Current Donor)Truthmaker
Review:
Had to go back and re-read this since it's been a few months and I once again must say that I love this crossover. The D&D cartoon was a staple of my childhood and you've done the characters proud with this work. I also like the way you've handled the passengers, it's a really cool take on the after effects of Halloween.

Having Cordelia babysit Dawnie was just too cute as well. Were you planning on having Patrice revealed as a former potential to Buffy & Faith? No doubt Travers and the Council will just love that little tidbit of information being released.
Comments from author:
yeah, sorry about that. I was planning to update earlier, but I have too many stories and too little time to update them all as often as I'd like. I may have to bring some of them to an end or put them on hiatus and concentrate on fewer.

I'm glad you like the way I depict the characters. I love the cartoon as well. (DVD's yay!) I've never read quite a Halloween consequences fic where this happened, but I've probably not read all of them.

Yes, Cordelia rather underestimated that...

They'll question her and no doubt she'll try and put a spanner in the works between Slayer and Watcher, expecting to be killed by Giles anyway.

Review:
Ha, they do make a fun pair, don't they? Hopefully Buffy and co. still manage to hold their own, though.
Comments from author:
They are amazingly fun to write. They have a limited goal so we'll see what the Scoobies manage to do.

Rereading first chapters. -- “S-Santa Claus gave it to me,” she confessed. -- Should probably be Father Christmas as both she and Spike are British.
Comments from author:
You're quite correct, it should be. Seeing as you re-read it, I assume you enjoyed it, too. ;-)

Review:
Almost felt sorry for Cordy but she should have been more careful of what she says around Dawn. Should be fun seeing Joyces reaction.

Good story looking forward to your next chapter.
Comments from author:
One should always be careful what you say around children. They have the annoying habit of repeating what they hear, and asking questions at all the wrong times...

Cordelia isn't looking forward to it...

Enjoyed the chapter but it's been so long I'm going to have to reread the rest. Sigh, having to read good stuff.
Comments from author:
I'd apoligise, ( I do) but if you enjoy reading it, I'm also glad.

Thank God Dawnie wasn't there to ask 'What's a hormone?'...

Xander would have choked to death on his own tongue trying to swallow the witty comeback amidst his laughter...
Comments from author:
Ah, that would have been hard to explain.

If he'd made a witty comeback that was even slightly off-colour, Buffy would have ripped said tongue right out. ;-)

Review:
OMG, I absolutely LOVE your ten-year-old Dawn!!!! ;-)

And I am really, really, REALLY looking forward to seeing Joyce's reaction when Dawn asks her exactly what 'putting out' means, and in exactly what circumstances that question developed. ;-)

Loving this whole story, as I believe I've said previously, and my only complaint is that I can't actually laugh out loud at some in the bits, since i often read this while at work and I'm sure my coworkers are already convinced I'm crazy. ;-)
Comments from author:
I found her amusing and endearing myself, so I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Cordelia is rather less happy about it, no doubt she's hoping her cheerleader training gives her sufficient stamina to outrun Joyce.

Glad you like it so much. You could of course read it at again home and laugh all you want. ;-)

I guess now we get to see what kind of man Giles is in this universe. nice Spike work. hopefully Buffy handles Faith better also.
great chapter, thanks
Comments from author:
Yes, we will. Glad you liked my Spike. I find the character an interesting mix between deep understanding of human nature and psychological foibles and sheer, raw, brutal violence.

Buffy has the major advantage that she's a lot less psychologically damaged. That might help.

this has been very good. of corse with you and a couple other author's all doing the same time frame I had to keep track of whose story I was reading at he moment. W-P Sr getting eaten by Kakistos was priceless. hoping to see Faith reunited with Dr D, that would be great too. looking forward to more. thanks
Comments from author:
Thanks. Yeah, I noticed that as well. But it’s good we’ve got so many people writing, eh?

Dr D will certainly be looking. (And bit different from how I portray her elsewhere.)

you know so far the only problem I have with this is its been so long since I saw the D&D cartoon the characters (other than presto) are kind of vague. what luck that Walmart online is selling the whole series for $5.00. so far this has been great. thanks
Comments from author:
Glad you like it. My problem is I have to borrow the series. I keep getting ‘not in stock’ reports from my usual sellers…
