I really enjoyed this well-written fic. It's interesting and I would love to see you continue it. She dies soon, so how would that affect Daniel? Also, what would happen if he found out she died late, came to see Dawn months later, only to find his other niece alive again?
Would be quite interesting!

With regards to AllenPitts review about the Buffy bot I always figured Warren got ahold of Ted's remains and copied the technology. Afterall if its weird for he Buffy/April bots to be build in the 90's he's even weirder in the 40's?
Yep, Jack's definitely got that 'the hardest thing in this world is to live in it' knowledge down pat, having learned it painfully and messily many years earlier, and it's nice to see him actually connecting with Buffy (and helping Buffy to connect with the already-too-often-abandoned Daniel) through that hard-won wisdom. :)

Spike and the Buffy-bot, unleashed on an unsuspecting world. Could be interesting. Meanwhile, Daniel J.is going to find the Summers sisters very very interesting. Wait until he meets up with Giles. They can have a geek-fest on ancient languages. And each thinks they have a secret the other Must Not Be Told. Dawn... kind of seems like a de-Ascended Ancient, if you care to explore that. Any chance Clem will be seen?

It lacks the heavy breathing and the loss of a hand. Heh. A neat way to deal with Spike. I wonder how long it will take him to get very bored with his robotic companion.

This update was great. Spike can be so stupid sometimes. She trusted him even more than the Scoobies and he built a robot because Buffy don't love him. I always thought it was the stupids thing he ever did beside telling her he loved her when she was still depressed. Building a robot showed more obsession then love is my opinion.
Buffy was stupid saying to tell him that he was beneath her that was a cruel thing to say.
