Review of chapter "Forged" from Chan
Review:
Nice, some might argue that those whom make difficult decisions are also forged but this makes sense for Tony Stark
Comments from author:
I was thinking a little more literally, as forges were where weapons, armor, and tools were crafted and Tony was a weapons designer.

Review of chapter "Forged" from MarcusRowland
Review:
Like the guide you've chosen - much better than the influence on Tony in my story Another Path
Comments from author:
Thanks. It just seemed appropriate to have the god of the forge as Iron Man's patron.

Review of chapter "Whispers Never Lie" from Chan
Review:
Hummm.... Gideon the few times I've seen the show does seem to one who would be guided but who does the whispers represent?
Comments from author:
Couldn't decide at the time. Just put in a paragraph showing it's source.

Review of chapter "Shadows Never Fade" from legarde
Review:
This bit was kinda cool. You weaved the fictional game as a commonplace item in one world and incorporated the possible real world aspects. On the one hand, Chuck is kind of like a video game, but is very much centered in the real world as we know it, except for a few aspects, and it contains games like Elder Scrolls. On the other hand, because this is fiction, whose to say that aspects of Elder Scrolls are not part of this real world. I like it. It's almost like meeting both the actor playing your favorite character and the character himself. Like finding out your favorite fictional character really does exist in the real world. This bit is a cool bending of realities.
Comments from author:
Thank you. It's kind reviews like this that help make writing worth it.

Review of chapter "War Never Changes" from legarde
Review:
Aha! You challenge me. Well, from the way Shepard senses attacks, that is quite like Buffy's "spidey sense," but War is in control of that sense. He, and I'm guessing that it is a he, seems very much like the Original Slayer. Sineya's power is Buffy's power, passed down through the generations, making Buffy, in a way, the most recent avatar of the Slayer power. And Shepard is the most recent avatar of War. The only difference is War has a far more modern way of dealing with his avatar and allows her to do a she wishes whereas Sineya is more traditional. It's as if the Slayer line was replicated in different dimensions, and this is to show how it was created in Shepard's dimension. And the male reference is about War being a male and not female.
Comments from author:
Shepard is a girl in that actually, I always use femshep rather than manshep.

Edit: I got that reading it again, try the new one.

I love this drabble collection of various shows. You picked the right "guides" for the right people. I can hardly wait to see who you pick next. What about Rizzoli & Isles, White Collar, or Criminal Minds for a future chapter?
Comments from author:
I have ideas, the problem is deciding who the guide should be.

Review of chapter "Protection Never Fails" from legarde
Review:
I know this isn't a crossover piece, but I can't help making the connection that what if the Scoobies were dead from some terrible apocalypse that led to the death of all demons, and the spirits of Buffy, Willow, and Xander had come back to help new heros. It makes sense to me the connection of Buffy to Gibbs as they both hunt down killers, of Willow to Brennan as they both "raise" the dead, and of Xander to Mary as they both protect the helpless. And the language is so subtle that the story works either way as a crossover or not. Very well done and any extra applause for doing it on your PS3. :)
