Review of chapter "The Bank" from (Current Donor)Speakertocustomers
Review:
That was disgraceful behaviour. Was it your intention to show Daria being quickly corrupted by the money and turning into the vilest sort of bully?
Comments from author:
It was extremely disgraceful behavior - on the part of the Bank Manager. Daria, on the other hand, while being grumpy due to a migraine, simply had a coarse mouth, especially after she realized that she could run an old urban legend. She wasn't even horribly impolite - she simply added one word to the normal statement.

PS - It's supposed to be a joke...and if nine year old girls can get that, why can't you?

Review:
Very nioce job on the chapter, but the story currently seems a bit short, ending it at a Christmas party.
Comments from author:
Well, the story itself ended a chapter earlier. Christmas and The Bank are side stories that I tossed in. What do you feel was left out?

Review:
This was a nice way to end things. I really liked it.

This was a great piece, overall. I only watched the series intermittently when it was on TV, but I thought it was funny as all heck.

You really captured everyone well, from Jake, to Jane, to Helen, to Daria, to Quinn, to Brittany, to Jodie.

I wonder how her parents reacted to the fact that she's dating a girl?
Comments from author:
Who, Jane? As she told Helen, as long as she's happy, they are.

Thank you very much for your comments.

Review of chapter "Conclusion?" from JediKnight
Review:
Very interesting work on the latest chapters, keep up the good work. I'm just wondering though, why most of your stories have lesbians.
Comments from author:
Hmmm...I hadn't really thought too much about it. Primarily, for the work I show here, the basic reason is this - both of the fandoms that I feature have a severe dearth of strong male characters, and the best fit, if you don't force hetero, for the characters that I work with is a female.

Let's take Buffy. There are exactly two strong male characters in the series that are there for any length of time and are not vampires (and vampires aren't any kind of healthy relationship for any of the girls, with almost all of them being soulless, Angel not being able to be made happy by a mate, and Spike needing a goodly helping of BDSM to be content), Giles and Xander. Giles has the problem of having been an authority figure to both Buffy and Willow before, as well as being a good deal older, and Xander, in how he's portrayed, simply is seldom, if ever, on the kind of even footing with the girls which can lead to a stable relationship. Nevertheless, I have portrayed both men in relationships with the girls, if not as often.

I've expounded on the reasons that Buffy/Willow is a good pairing elsewhere, but the basics, again, are that they are equals (though in different fields), and have shown attraction to each other in the series. So they normally end up connected in my stories.

In Daria, the situation is even more heavily weighted towards strong women. Daria, assumed to be hetero, is shown to have non-platonic interest in exactly three males (and that's being generous to one) - Tom, Ted, and Trent. To Ted, she's simply part of his rush to discover the outside world; Trent, for whatever reason - good or bad - ignores anything non-platonic until it's way too late; which leaves Tom.

Tom seems to be written to be an actual, believable love interest for Daria, which might have worked, except for two issues. He's too off and on for a good, stable relationship with Daria, and he set up "The Kiss," with malice aforethought. That alone moves him from "possible mate," to "jerk," in my book.

So, taking those men away, and the only other possibly compatible man (Mack, who's taken), you have...nobody, except the girls. And of the girls, Jane is both by far the person Daria's most comfortable with, and the person that she's exhibited signs (among other things, jealousy) of being in an actual relationship with.

So there you go. Probably not the perfect reasoning, but mine.

Well, that sucks for Rita, but maybe she'll learn.

On to happier times for Daria and Jane.

Yeah, Rita's finding that you can't be on the offensive all the time, among other things.

Very nice job on chapter 11, I hope to read more. Are you taking suggestions for things in this story?

Thank you. Often I do take suggestions, but this particular story's in the can.

I don't quite see Daria in an 'orgy' situation, she seems too private a person for that. But her and Jane, you know what they say about the quiet ones!! lol

Definitely enjoying this story.

A couple of 'the's should be 'they's
Comments from author:
Well, these are among the people that she trusts most, and she's had a bit of tequila to loosen her up. Everything points to "safe," and "lose inhibitions," for them at that point.

Could only find one instance, and it's fixed.

Review:
Well, I guess I saw that coming. I kind of figured that Daria and Jane would end up together.

And the guys in the last chapter were douches. Bill and Ted!? Immediately asking to go back to the cabin and fuck? Bet any money they've never fucked anything but a sex doll! Or each other. Or their right/left hand.

The cameos by Jimmy Oleson and the others was a nice touch. Not a surprise, but a nice touch.

Reporters are a cross between bloodhounds, vultures, and leeches. Once they get the scent, they circle looking for a weakness and once that is spotted, the latch on and suck the life out of you.

I'm surprised that Clark is that big of a dick as to not respect the permanent 'no' that Daria stated in her first press conference. He's usually more respectful.

Chloe? She's so interested in the story, she doesn't respect boundaries, as does Lois Lane (any relation to Jane? I hope not!)

Looking forward to the confrontation with Rita and Helen. Rita may be vindictive, but she's a wuss. She has no real talent for fighting, either in real life, or in a court room.

Helen has cut her teeth taking on twits like her sister. Where on Earth does Rita think that Helen gained all of her skills? By fighting for everything she ever wanted.

If Rita's lawyer is a shark like Helen, it should be interesting to see who draws the most blood.

Rita's lawyer is being paid for his job, but Helen has the home field advantage and will expose all of her sister's dirty laundry in retaliation; either in court, or in a book of her own.

I'll bet that Helen kept a very meticulous diary about Rita, containing every insult, bit of favoritism, bit of bitchy attitude, and pomposity that she has thrown around.
Comments from author:
Well, yes, they were going to.

And yes, the boys were. They were just a touch of Bill and Ted from the excellent adventure, and a whole mess of Beavis and Butt-head.

The reporters are just doing what reporters do, good, bad or ugly.

I'm just interested in why you didn't pin Francis and crew down. Perhaps you haven't heard about Francis's girlfriends, Columbia and Magenta, and Bradley's girl Janet?

There will be no direct confrontation between Helen and Rita, but there will be a bit of communication to tie things up, eventually.

Review of chapter "Chapter Nine" from CrystalBlaze
Review:
This is going very nicely.

There are certain stories that help become cautionary tales for people later on.

A little romp titled *Bimbos of the Death Sun* turned into a nice heads-up for people about to hit the science fiction/fantasy convention scene, a warning about the kind of collective disconnect from rational existence they were about to face and witness.

This story looks to do the same for lottery winners.

Oh, to WolfWriter: They most certainly did have other members of the team active in the episodes. The Three Js and Mack are all also on the team.
Comments from author:
Thank you. There's good and bad to be found here, and in chapter ten, you'll find Daria not totally unhappy...if you read FR21 rated chapters.
