Review of chapter "Epilogue" from wswords
Review:
Think I might have found a major plot hole, if Harald Saxon (the Master) is around than shouldn't Buffy's Doctor detector be going off. It isn't the Doctor specifically that it should register, it should be any Time Lord, and the Master is defiantly a time lord.
Comments from author:
Actually, that was the reason I put this in. It shows that the Master's blocking that signal, not just in the Doctor, but in everyone.

Keep in mind that Buffy does react to the Master, but not consciously. It's embedded into her instincts.

Dawn's response to Buffy's final comment was great.

The rest of the story.. well... words elude me. It was beyond great.

Review:
That last line was basically perfect. Glad you kept Seo around, great character, but most authors think that they can't deviate from cannon that much no matter how much sense it makes in universe. While others deviate from cannon even though it makes no sense in universe or out of universe for that matter. Speaking of which you handled the former very well in the seventh segment. I just finished rereading that it was good, if purposely confusing at points.

Also Buffy should really learn to pick her words better, she didn't survive the fall she died and got better, and she knows the doctor showed up while she was dead. Although that is totally in character.

Also while I am reviewing I might as well ask. Are you ever going to release a timeline of the stories from the doctors perspective?
Comments from author:
Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Yeah, the problem with Buffy's wording is that it's been six years since that whole thing happened to her. And probably six years of having to tell people she fell but survived, because they wouldn't believe her, otherwise. If she'd told the Doctor right after it happened, the difference between, "I survived" and "I died but came back" would have been huge. But six years later...

Oh! I'd be happy to give you the order from the Doctor's point of view!

1. Don't Be.
(10th Doctor, post-Rose)
1.5. Your Nature
(Alternate timeline version of "Don't Be")
2. Starlight.
(15 minutes after "Don't Be")
3. The Bringer of Death.
(Before he meets Martha.)
4. Happy Endings.
(10th Doctor, with Martha. It is also implied that the 10th Doctor and Martha have had some adventures in Sunnydale, before this. Including Martha's teaching everyone CPR)
5. The Seventh Segment.
(10th Doctor and Donna.)
6. Paradox
(10th Doctor, shortly after Donna leaves.)
7. Elizabeth
(Takes place directly after Paradox.)
8. The Epilogues to the Seventh Segment
(As a result of Buffy's Blame Sheet.)
9. Blue Box Bad
(And the entire summer of Buffy making up monsters to keep the Doctor there.)
10. The Facksisil of Balime
11. Nothing
12. Prologue to the Seventh Segment
(In which the Doctor gives Dawn the TARDIS key perception filter.)
13. Riley Finn Doesn't Hate the Doctor
(Or parts of it, in which the 11th Doctor is clearly traveling with Amy and no Rory. In other parts, he's clearly traveling with them both.)
14. My Weapon
(11th Doctor, during Amy and Rory's honeymoon.)
15. That part, in "Nothing", where Doctor 11 shows up and Buffy threatens his bow tie.
(Traveling with married Amy and Rory.)
16. Something.
17. Date Night.
18. Role Model.

Of course, the stories with Seo are going to wind up weaving around the Doctor's time stream even more. And remember that the Doctor mentioned he knew that Dawn's future was fine, in Elizabeth. But I think that's pretty much the Doctor's time stream.

Thanks for the review!

Congratulations for such a cool ending to your series!.
Good thing that Saxon still ignores everything about Dawn, and well, I really wanna see this version of the year that never was, and of course, the battle against Rassilon.
Cool chapter, see ya!!.
Comments from author:
Oh, I didn't even think of the battle against Rassilon! Darn!

I did, however, come up with a plot for a Children of Earth story. I'll see how it turns out, when I write it, but it promises to be good.

Review:
Considering how very territorial and protective Buffy is of Dawn I can't imagine how she'll be with Seo. Poor Xander if the two do ever go on a date, regardless of the fact that Seo far older than ever of them. Though I can see Seo enjoying Buffy's over-protectiveness, to a point, far more than Dawn ever did.

I'm terribly curious to find out what will happen in this series version of the year that never was. The Master is all sorts of interesting.
Comments from author:
The Years that Never Were weaves together the story of Seo's birth with the story of the Valiant. It's interesting, because the two years complement each other.

The Master is sadistic, maniacal, and insane, but it always comes from somewhere. And Seo hits a lot of insecurities in the Master.

But the Master hits a lot of insecurities in Seo, too.

An interesting story. But way too long. I'm currently hacking it down with garden sheers.

Review:
Hurr. Sad that. But in the end, the embaressment got his own final revenge and freedom. And the final revenge? Denying them Twilight, denying them his kid and destroying their grip on reality. Now, I think Seo and her parents are going to unleash the final act on them. Aye?
Comments from author:
He got his own revenge, and he gave Seo both her freedom and her parents. As you say, it really was a victory for the Embarrassment.

Review of chapter "Chapter Forty Seven" from Letomo
Review:
Well, I'm a little sad she didn't 'reverse the polarity', and get the Creative side of the Twilight energy to flow back into her, and cancel out the Twilight in her, while letting her keep her regenerations. But, say la vie. Not the direction it went.

Good stuff!
Comments from author:
That would have been a good idea. But, of course, Seo isn't perfect. She's not able to think of all the options the Doctor is. She isn't able to do nearly as many totally impossible things as him, yet.

She's a teenager. She makes mistakes. Messes up. Doesn't understand things the way she should.

(Also... I... didn't think of that option. At all. Damn. That would have been a good idea.)

Review:
I was wondering how you would get to a choice for Seo that was half as bad as some that The Doctor or Buffy had already faced. But now I see that you really really have :( I hope Seo doesn't hate Martha forever because she argued for saving the Doctor.

Review:
"The rush of battle is a potent and often lethal addiction, for war is a drug, one I ingested for many years." From "War Is a Force That Gives Us Meaning" by Chris Edges.

It's easy to say that Seo has to do the right thing, but who says that's easy, or even the moral thing to do?.

The thing is the Doctor (In this incarnation), The PTB and Toby they have gotten so used to the rush of battle, to the great struggle to save The Big Picture, that they are forgetting one simple thing: that in the end you fight for your friends, for your family.

I hope that Seo can do the right thing for her and her dad.

Cool chapter, see ya!!!.
