Review of chapter "Chapter 1" from Cateagle
Oh, this is going to get rather interesting as a very different Harry Potter proceeds to make life difficult and very confusing for the other three sides of the conflict (Albus and minions, Tom and minions, and the minions of the Ministry). It should be most interesting to see who Harry selects to train with him in using those tools he brought back and in seeing how he plans to use them.
Comments from author:
OK, my AU universe states (BTW this will come out) that during the Sith Wars era 4000 years or so Before the Battle of Yavin IV (Episode IV) A group of Jedi, Sith, and ordinary citizens grouped together to get away from the fighting. The Jedi had the blessings of the Council - the Sith were outcast from the Empire. The Republic provided transports, cruisers and fighters to help the colonization of a new world. This group (which carried several Jedi and Sith Artifacts) was chased into a black hole. Their pursuers perished, they didn't. They adapted a transports hyperdrive and jumped through the black hole to another universe. The colonists integrated with the humans already there. Yes, Earth. Yes, wizards. So yes some (ministry, Tommy) may have problems. Albus however knows his history and has been looking for a Jedi for over 50+ years. He's been fighting Sith for the same amount of time. As for his Redeeming problem - He can see and understand Auras.

Yes, this turn of events is going to throw a Hagrid-sized monkey-wrench into a whole lot of plans and machinations. I'm quite looking forward to seeing where you go with this and just who Harry recruits to use the high-tech items he now has. If he's also got training holocrons, a lot of the wizarding world is about to be stood on its head as a new force (pun not intended, but enjoyed) makes itself known.
Comments from author:
I may be letting the cat out of the bag but Harry's not the only one who has access to High-Tech. Voldie used the methods that had almost worked for over a thousand years. But there are even older methods that the user of Voldie's tech has trained him in. One of those methods allowed him to survive the surprise of a Force Active child who could use the Force to shield against Voldie's initial strike and then return the energy to him in a form that killed his original body.

While I personally kinda like the Jedis - despite their stupid, IMNSHO, attempt to steal the very humanity from the Homo Sapiens within their Order via forcing them in to trying to be emotionless automatons - the addition of Harry to their ranks makes me sit up and perk my ears...

yeah, they're a tad large, what about it!?!?

{ahem} Anywho, Harry getting in a solid year plus of intense training from Yoda /and/ coming back loaded for pack of Grizzly bears is great - and him returning within a few weeks of his disappearance? Outstanding! There's going to be some serious head scratching done about both those little facts soon.

His visiting the Goblins and getting his inheritance is a sound move, and relocating to a safe site for scouting - I presume - the situation before he reveals himself to anyone else is also smart. Wondering how much of a change in Harry physically as well as emotionally there's been...

Ya know, the Muses want to have a chat with you about adding to this, sooooooo....
Comments from author:
OK a year on Dagobah = 1095 earth days or 3 earth years. How does Harry know? He has a watch (that he's replaced what 3 times?). 1 year in the Star Wars dimension = 2 weeks in Harry's Home Dimension. He doesn't have access to his entire inheritance just what is in his trust vault. And in my particular dimension The Jedi Order never tried to turn out automatons their creedo was 'Embrace the Emotion let it flow through you and do not let it disrupt the calm of the force' IE you have emotions, you have family, the force flows without emotion. I always thought that that was a mistake on the part of the Jedi, you have emotions if you let them rule you, you are a Sith, but if you feel the emotions and let them flow past you are their controller. My Jedi council learned that lesson over a thousand years ago. Most Jedi choose to divorce their emotions, but a few use them BTW Anakin Skywalker never turned in my universe, Palpatine grew a Clone and had Anakin killed. And the two week/1 year offset will become very important soon, here's a hint

Harry was startled to see Master Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Master Secura, and three civilians on the other side of the portal that had just opened.

Review of chapter "Chapter 1" from jimk
The vault thing seemed confusing. Does he have full access or not? It seems to say he has only limited access as in he can enter the vault but may only remove a few items. Why?

Beyond being a full-fledged Jedi Knight, he's got a fleet of frigging X-wings along with Potter castle and everything else you've loaded him down with. That sounds like the Voldemort portion of this fic should be fairly short, (hard to believe if it's not), and then I assume move back to Star Wars? That wouldn't necessarily be bad. Zap Voldemort and, depending on where you're going with this, maybe Dumbledore. Then dump the primitive planet and move back to the future with a bunch of padawans to support the Jedi.
Comments from author:
I always thought Voldemort would be a more serious problem, so this conflict is going galactic. I mean why conquer one small Island when you can conquer the entire galaxy? Snape will give a eye witness account of most of the Death-Eaters being given an ultimatum. There will be an early link with Stargate. Two Squadrons does not a Fleet make, but if you read Code Ragnarok: Stand and be Counted: Jedi Potter & Company, And Code Ragnarok: Battlefront: To Invade Hell you will see part of where I'm going with this. As for the vault thing, He can't have control over the Potter Accounts (though he may make some changes (invest in electronics, computers ect.) He can walk into the Potter Family Vault as he is a Potter but he may remove only personal items (letters and so forth) The ring denotes Head of Family, House, or Clan and can only be worn or even touched by a true Potter. The Wizards Law says that (A Family Ring is worn by the Head of House, Heirs, and Clan members, No-one may prevent such a Ring being worn) normally Harry as Heir would only wear the Heirs Ring but as he is last of the Potters, he wears the Head of Clan Ring. Potter Keep will be the Avalon Embassy while Earth decides whether to be part of the Avalon Republic, but that's years in the future. And a good part of what happened in the six weeks he was gone will explain Voldemorts actions later.

Edit: and he has full access to his trust vault (the 500K galleons) but only limited access to the Family Vault until he turns 17 (when he gets full control)

Review of chapter "Prologue" from Toras
An interesting beginning to a story. Especially the fact that this takes place ten years before the start of the star wars movies. Yoda would have lots of time to train Harry, and perhaps have him help train Luke when he turn up in Empire Strikes back. Of course the real fun would start when Harry returned home to confront Volde, and perhaps start his own Jedi academy in the wizarding world. :) I do hope you continue this.

Edit: Your point about Luke becoming a Jedi to easy is a fair one, though it should be noted that Lucas was always a bit fuzzy on his duration of training. Based on the movies it seems like he's only been there for a few weeks, but then again he doesn't leave until Leia and crew get to cloud city, and since they couldn't use hyperspace to get out of the asteroid fields to cloud city it could be that he was actually on dagobah for months.

I could just see Yoda sending a few people along with Harry back to his reality to get them out of danger or to give Harry more help/training. :) I look forward to seeing what else you do with thisl.
Comments from author:
I gotta warn you that time can be a bit wonky between universes. In this case 14 days to a year star wars time. I.E. if Harry spends 1095 days of 24 hrs each or 3 earth years (which is 1 Dagobah year) he will be gone for 6 weeks. I always thought that Luke became a Jedi to easy. As a final note : Palpatine has started his campaigns early, so you may see smart people jumping to other dimensions (especially after Harry teaches Yoda how)

Review of chapter "Chapter 1" from KageRyu
I think you mean ARC-170s because the X-wing didn't come into fruition until during the Han Solo series at best.
Comments from author:
I am ignoring a bit of star wars history here or rather rewriting it. In my version several Jedi who didn't survive Order 66 (in my version some do) and one who did (no not telling) stashed the newest best fighters on Kamino. Maybe they saw the direction that "Supreme Chancellor Palpatine" was going. Still yes they are X-Wings not ARC-170's or Z-95 Headhunters, they were put into production 6 months before the end of the war and several squadrons were made by Incom but the Emperor decided that TIE fighters were cheaper and faster to produce (which they are) deathtraps though, not that he cared.

Review of chapter "Chapter 1" from Valandar
I just ask - PLEASE don't make this an "Evil / Corrupt Dumbledore" fic? I have seen far too many of those lately.
Comments from author:
No worries, Albus was doing what he thought was right for all concerned. The only mess-ups he made was not thinking about the blood protection after Tommy Boy came back to life and not checking the Dursley's for dark magic. So yes a few mistakes but with his schedule? Plus he was grieving for his friends. I did put in that Albus held his only key for him, for a reason. I was showing that Albus could be trusted.
