Review of chapter "Chapter Eight" from (Past Donor)LiastraLee
Review:
It's super sad that their relationship is entirely based on Buffy manipulating and lying to the Doctor.

I really think that it's a situation where they may love each other, but they don't work as a couple, at all.

Review:
I wan't expecting the Doctor to be mad at Buffy for keeping things from him now. I was expecting him to have figured out she was keeping stuff from him ages ago and been mad at her then. I guess he had more trust in her than I thought.
I think I agree that Buffy makes a better decision at the end, taking that responsibility and blame onto herself, but it still isn't the right decision. The Doctor should decide if he wants his memories returned for himself.

"He couldn't forgive himself. For what he'd done to his home. His people. His planet. But… if he'd forgive her…
Then she'd take responsibility for it. All of it.
She'd do that for him."

Oh Buffy, that's not how solidarity and empathy works, not at all. Like you said before, it's kinda funny how Buffy keeps making decisions for other people. I kinda feel pity for this alternate version of Buffy, one who makes so many mistakes, yet is so full of light.
By the way, I was listening to a song by Alma Velasco, a Mexican electro pop singer that really fits to this fic, I hope you like ti =) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w33nDp95v3M
Cool fic and unto the next part, see ya!!!.

I like the way you worked 'Superstar' into the story. It really felt right, and made things more interesting. At least to me.
Comments from author:
Thank you!

Yeah, Buffy should have listened to Jonathan's advice, though. He might not really have been a superstar, but he's right -- you can't build trust on lies. And it's going to come back to bite her in the ass.

Review of chapter "Chapter Seven" from Gideon
Review:
Was Faith planning to pretend the Doctor was escaping with her even when she grabbed him? That seems a bit too much like forward planning for Faith!
Comments from author:
I think, at first, she just wanted to shove it to Buffy. By pointing out to Buffy that the Doctor telepathically sexed her while he *knew* she wasn't Buffy.

Then did the rest.

Well, at the end Faith did the right thing for the right reasons, although in her current emo state of mind she wouldn't recognize that.
And Buffy, the fact that you suck at undercover work, does not means that other persons suck at it too, so girl, it wasn't cheating :P xD!.
Cool chapter, see ya!!!.
Comments from author:
Let's hope Buffy learns a lesson from this about keeping secrets.

Nothing like the power of cheating using Science!... to stop the bad guys, ooh yeah!.
And Buffy, girl let me tell ya something, undercover and mole discovering work does not count as cheating :P xD .
Cool chapter, see ya!!!.
Comments from author:
And, of course, what Buffy won't realize is that the Doctor wouldn't have had to do any of that "cheating" stuff if Buffy had just told him the truth from the very beginning.

But that's one of Buffy's fatal character flaws. She wants to protect people, so much so, that she doesn't tell them the truth.

(And the Doctor often does the same thing.)

Review:
Since The Doctor is so weirdly alien he is probably the best person to try to reach Faith. She wouldn't believe anyone else would want to help her but maybe she will believe he would. Kinda reminds me of Angel actually. He wasn't a normal person either and he did reach her eventually.
I'm glad Faith had the opportunity to help a few times. Hopefully the Doctor's good opinion of her will hold some weight with Buffy.

Review of chapter "Chapter Four" from Mcspender
Review:
Yeah, that's what I like about the Doctor, the appeal to the best nature in every person; although I like it when he goes full oncoming storm in the bad guys too xD.

By the way, I kinda find funny that the bad guys in the Doc Who universe tend to blame him for a loot of evil actions and destruction of lives and property, the main one being stopping their evil plans, like the Great Intelligence did in the last episodes of this season; plans that had come come to full fruition, would have resulted in an even worse body count of innocent people, planetary destruction and a lack of coffee and tea for the survivors.

So, the Doctor might be a small time liar, but his enemies, are full on hypocrites methinks xD.

Cool chapter, see ya!!.
Comments from author:
Oh, I agree completely. The way I always see it, the baddies, most of the time, don't actually care about the Doctor's death count, they just want to play on his guilt. Or they're trying to prove (either to the Doctor or to themselves) that he isn't so different from them -- not as much of a hero as he wants to seem.

Sometimes, they're just plain jealous. (See: Master and destruction of Gallifrey)

Often, it's an insecurity in the antagonist character, himself. The bad guy really wants to be as powerful and knowledgeable as the Doctor, and is frustrated he can't be. And so, takes it out on the Doctor. (I think this is the reasoning behind the Great Intelligence. Keep in mind that the Great Intelligence was also in classic Who, and in that one, the Great Intelligence actually had a whole master plan to suck the knowledge from the Doctor's mind.)

I always try to put in the effort to make sure that every character I write has a reason for guilt tripping the Doctor. Or when they really target other characters. You'll see, in the Years that Never Were, when the Master's torturing people on the Valiant, I take great care to make sure he always has a reason. Even when he's just killing Jack!

Review:
If the Doctor lost his memory (save for flashes of his childhood) how does he know how to reconfigure the virus, and why does he still call Buffy Elizabeth?
Comments from author:
Well, I established that the Doctor does remember science stuff, in the Facksisil of Balime (and he's very smart, which bridges any gaps, there).

The Buffy/Elizabeth thing, if you look at the Facksisil of Balime, is Buffy's doing. She has very clearly asked him to call her Elizabeth. I think she likes it because it's a pet-name between them.

Only read the authors note on the chapter so far.

An Faith learned first hand to never lie to a professional liar. I mean, the Doctor is the supreme Con man and Faith, weell at that time she's was just an amateur xD!.

Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from ellf
Review:
Oh the Doctor knows the entire time here. Because he never calls Buffy Buffy unless there's something wrong. And the reason Faith's not getting infected is because she's inside Buffy's body. She's already infecting it.

Well, he might not _know_ know... but he suspects. This isn't his Elizabeth.
Comments from author:
Very astute of you!

Now keep in mind that, when this happened in the actual Buffy series, Riley sleeps with Faith because he thinks she's Buffy. The Doctor, on the other hand... is doing some pretty intimate things with Faith... *knowing* she isn't Buffy!
