Review of chapter "The Showdown" from Grovtech
Review:
What a cute and fun series! I kept seeing scenes from the 'Thunderbirds' and the other old Gerry Anderson programs as you talked about Tom's gadgets. The bit about magic had me laughing. Poor Tom!

Terrific stuff!

Ok, so Willow is a "Spark" and so are those others. And now I get the title "Willow Rosenberg, Girl Genius. But she's not just a spark, oh no, she's also a witch, which Tom still doesn't know. Multi-talented woman that Willow. Smart girls are so wonderful. Far better to have a smart one for a friend rather than beautiful. Willow combines both.

That flying trying to evade the pursuer sounded so much like a set of Rally chart sheets that it's amazing. Probably happened at least as fast as a rally car too.

Review of chapter "First Steps" from DieselDriver
Review:
I didn't notice any speech impediment in the previous chapter. I hope this isn't a precurser of bad things from Tara. BTW, did Willow meet Tara the person in this universe? What happened to the tumor Buffy's mom had?

This is a really fun story. I would like to know if you ever read the E. E. "Doc" Smith, Skylark or Lensmen books? I still really enjoy their super science stuff even though I know it's horribly obsolete. I enjoy the Niven stories that are obsolete too, due to advancing science knowledge. The "Coldest Place" is obsolete, so were several other stories almost as soon as they'd been published. I can't imagine what Buffy would do if she went through the "Footfall" situation. I think the invaders would be in for quite a rude shock even in comparison to the one they went through when they realized we didn't understand their surrender situation. In my opinion "Footfall" is the only alien invasion story that has a logical reason behind the invasion. It's quite worth reading if you haven't already.

Review of chapter "Tara Speaks." from DieselDriver
Review:
Tom has an extremely curious nature and will certainly keep after it till he finds out what Buffy's past and probably Willow's as well and should then be able to get them to admit to magic being real along with demonstrations in front of ALL KINDS of sensors.

Ok, questioning put off. For awhile. Every time I see "Chow" my brains programing from the time I spent in the Orient, wants to say "Cho".

Review:
The thought has been building in my mind and has coalesced during the reading of this chapter that Tom must have financial assets far about Bill Gates and George Soros combined, perhaps rivaling those of Dubai.

Huzzah! This story was great fun as usual, and I'm looking forward to the next outing in this universe, though I'm also enjoying Nacht. It will be fun to see Tom introduced to the wider realities of magic.

I just reread your whole story and I am mightily impressed. You put the fun and excitement of the original stories in your 'upgraded' version of the Tom Swift stories. And you added TARA. Any story with any version of Tara is a step up from the norm to me. Plus I love the explanation that the whole Swift family was actually Sparks/Tech-Wizards. This explains so much about the wacky science in the original stories. Lol! I really look forward to reading more stories set in this wonderful universe.

A wonderful end to a wonderful sequel. Hope that you'll get another wonderful brainwave and make a sequel to this one too! Cuz that'll be just as awesome as the others in the series!

You've done a great job with this! And I truly cannot wait until your next update or new story! Hope to hear from you soon!

Review of chapter "Countermeasures" from Difdi
Review:
> "Infrared is out. Too many commercial detectors are available.

It would almost have to be selectively variable, since most of those commercial detectors for infrared are controlling automatic doors. Having to wait for someone else to walk by and trigger the door strikes me as a problem.

It could also be sonar-based, the US Navy has a prototype in testing that allows a blindfolded diver to find a single penny on the bottom of a swimming pool. It also has interesting implications for blind people, since the sonar works in air too, though it lacks the resolution water gives.
