Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Robby

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from (Recent Donor)DrakePendragon
Review:
This applies up until Willow's bit:

I can't even count how many deliciously wrong ways that chapter went. The fact that you brought in Torgue turned it from mild laughter to crying with laughter. This is truly a beautiful idea.

This applies to Willow's bit:

Interesting, but kinda squashed the mood the chapter put me in. Isn't riotously funny like every else. Though, I am curious as to where it leads.

This is awesome. Weird, but awesome nonetheless. Luna fits in well here.
Comments from author:
Yes. Yes she does. I've been dreaming this one up for a while. :)

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from laoshi
Review:
Not familiar with Borderlands but any character who calls something the badass crater badassitude is alright in my book.

The line about this is how Hermione feels about sharing a common room with Ron is hilarious.

Willow planning to go as Luna from this fic is an awesome idea although it has scary metaphysical implications.

Willow is reading the fic so she's as real as anyone else who reads the fic despite being a fictional character and we've just wandered into Meinong's Jungle

or...

You created this version of Willow and she's as real as the rest of this universe...

which you must have also created. And here I thought it was Dave Lister jump starting the second Big Bang with jump leads from Starbug.

I clicked the link and read Scarlet Fishnets tat's a great ficlet. I'll never get tired of people beating up Draco Malfoy.

This was a fun diversion fro Around the Universe an I'd definitely like to read this Seven Siren story you have in the works.
Comments from author:
I loved that there was a Mister Torgue at ConnectiCon. And a Patricia Tannis. I was walking through the dealer's room, and I hear the two of them shouting back and forth from different booths reenacting the intro to the Campaign of Carnage DLC. Hilarious shit.

As for Willow... trippy shit. I vote that she's real. And right now, she's reading your comments about her reading fanfiction...

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Meneldur
Review:
This was really fun. I don't play Borderlands, but I was able to get the gist of it pretty quickly. Luna was awesome, as always, especially considering where she was dropped into. Mister Torgue was hilarious, especially the way Luna conversed with him. And I enjoyed the recursive thing you did at the end, which was especially awesome given what you said about getting the Siren. Willow as a Borderlands Luna, though... that is badass.
Comments from author:
Basically, Borderlands and the sequel are somewhere between Halo and Mass Effect. It's definitely a story-centric game with a lot of world-building, but the dialogue all proceeds on a straight line path and there's no morality or branching sub-plots. Siren is one of six classes in BL2 and one of two that carries over from BL1. They have metaphysical powers stemming from... we have no idea, really. But you can customize your character by selecting from three power trees, and then add class mods (the post you saw on Tumblr) that give you bonus skill points to set powers. Legendary Siren, for instance, gives you massive bonuses in five of the six basic skills, so it allows you to have a bit of awesome in all the lowest-end powers before specializing in one or two of the three branches.

I'm just looking forward to giving Luna - and then Willow - the Slow Hand: a massive pink shotgun that uses mysterious alien technology to fire balls of energy instead of bullets.

Not sure Willow has thought this completely through. Heh. After that last Halloween, one would think she'd never do another. Still. Luna & room of requirement. Creative use of same, I like it.

First I was like "Luna in Borderlands? YES!"
Then i was like "Luna and Torgue? Even more better YES!"

And then you had Willow, my favorite YAHF character, cosplay Siren!Luna and I was like"...wut... What? WHAT?! YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES!"

So, I'm pretty happy about the new story.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Wormbait
Review:
Well just the fact that you used both Luna and Willow, my favourite characters from each world, has me hooked.

Never played borderlands but I'm not gonna let that stop me from following this one.

Well done and thanks for sharing, I look forward to more.
Comments from author:
Basically, I had someone ask to cosplay as something from one of my Marvel fanfics and so I thought it'd be funny to do a story (the upcoming The Seventh Siren) about someone cosplaying someone from a story of mine (The Sixth Siren).
