Review of chapter "Epic·logue" from DarthTenebrus
Review:
After one year, the spirit of V lives on in the hearts and minds of all who cherish freedom and self-determination. So whatever happened to Walsh and Travers?

And how did Angelus get himself captured and put in the ADAM room?
Comments from author:
They never made it out, even Angelus couldn't fight against an entire army. Maggie Walsh thought she would play with the big dogs, and it bit her - literally.

Review of chapter "Epic·logue" from bsams
Review:
I guess the best that could be said about this fic is that at least it's over. Hopefully, there won't be a Re-Repost of this because twice is enough. The other only good thing about this is that at least Buffy died. She was justified in what she did to some, but at the end really she was just an animal to be put down. Of course once again thanks to her, Angelus is loose again. Maybe this time a real Slayer will do her duty and put him down

Review of chapter "Endings and Beginnings" from DarthTenebrus
Review:
Vengeance, served up medium rare, juicy and tender. Not the ice cold dish of that old Klingon proverb, but I suppose V thought it was enough for her to see Walsh's world tumble down around her ears.

Will she finally resurrect herself once again, and get a chance to play in the new world, or is this finally it for the ol' Buffster?
Comments from author:
I'll leave that to your imagination, and leave the door open for a possible second story.

Review of chapter "Endings and Beginnings" from Thedruid
Review:
Don't quite get the ending there. Who was ressuciated? Cordillia? The young potiontials that Maggie killed when making the super soldiers? Angel and company? How and why?
Comments from author:
They were the people each person had lost to the Regime. Think about the descriptions, and it will make more sense. Sum for magicology must equal zero. It was the only way for V to do everything she did.

Oh, and Cordelia is CiCi.

Love the story.
Though honestly, I think Willow and Riley got off easy this chapter...

Review of chapter "A Heated Burn" from grd
Review:
She deserves an Oscar for this performance. Vengence demons will be taking classes to learn from Buffy on how to do it right. Poor Scoobies so blind to the horror of the truth. I trust more of her torture will be reveal too. How could Rupes be mad at Buffy? She was the victim. Xan lost and forgot his manhood too? Hope Buffy saved Maggie's fate last and something very special. Something eternal.
Comments from author:
Thank you, I'm glad that you're enjoying the story. Promise, Buffy has something special in store for Ole Mags. Giles turned a blind eye, and has decided he doesn't want to hear anything different.

Review of chapter "A Heated Burn" from DarthTenebrus
Review:
Just reading the chapter details was a bloody tease in and of itself! But once I began reading the chapter I saw what amounted to the collapse of a regime, the plans within plans fraying slowly by single fibers until the whole tapestry has begun to unravel, and all on display for the public to witness the ugly truth reveal itself to all at long last. And with Maggie Walsh and Quentin Travers watching the endgame play itself out, V is finally seeing all her efforts come to glorious fruition.
Comments from author:
Yes, its much better not to rush vengeance, but to savor every juicy part.

Review of chapter "A Heated Burn" from Thedruid
Review:
Intense, and i don't remember all the differences your putting into this new version. But i have 2 questions about plot that are nagging me.

1. What happened to the original Joyce? Killed?

2. Did Tara just kill all the tubed mothers, or do somethin more?
Comments from author:
Thanks.

1. It showed back in Chapter 7 that Joyce died of a brain aneurysm in her second year as Regent.

2. Yes, the mother and unborn children were the voices screaming to be set free from Buffy/V's dream.

Review:
D'Hoffryn should diffenently offer Buffy a job for her work!
Comments from author:
Yeah, I could definitely see her handing out her own brand of wishes. Not sure he would like them any better than the ones receiving or giving would though.

Review of chapter "Trouble With A Capitol T" from DarthTenebrus
Review:
Love the tension/ resolution as it's proceeded thus far. V has played a very dangerous game, and now it appears she is going to win with a flourish. And with the news of the brutality and the summary executions having been broadcast across the planet just prior to V's very strategic surrender, the timing could not have been more perfect. This is all happening with such beautiful finality, and now it comes down to one choice. But for the Powers, it may already be too late to make that choice. The People will have them nonetheless...

And whatever happens this night, V will have her vengeance.

Speaking of the Powers, I do enjoy that through this story you've refrained from giving them divine qualities, opting instead to portray them as several persons in overall charge of a totalitarian regime. Not gods, but people. Gods cannot be harmed, or make mistakes, or act foolishly; people can, though, and there lies the beauty of this whole operetta.

Thank you for such a wonderful written review. I think you will like the way this wraps up. And, the teaser that I leave behind. *wink*

Review of chapter "The Perfect Gift" from DarthTenebrus
Review:
And now let us begin the endgame...HA HA!!! V's thrill of impending victory and vengeance mixes quite well with Regent Walsh's bone-deep terror and panic. Walsh will end up killing one of her own subordinates in a fit of rage before this is all over, and everyone will see it, her moment of final breakdown before the glorious moment comes at last...

YES!!!
Comments from author:
LOL. Oh, even better than that, promise.

Aha! Cliffhanger noted and approved. Oh, Maggie's in hot water now...the intensive pre-planning and hard work is paying off in dividends...

Review of chapter "Overspent Today's Word Account" from ShalaDakiri
Review:
One of the things I love about this story is just how well you bring out the bitterness and disillusionment Buffy has been left with. The sarcasm comes through well, too.

It really is creepy and frightening what someone who is highly motivated, patient and with zero remaining connections to people might do.

Thank you, I'm glad that you're enjoying the story.

Review of chapter "Overspent Today's Word Account" from DarthTenebrus
Review:
Loving the last few chapters AKA the story of Vinka and Stasha, our dear sweet Russian supermodel -- oooh those two words together just flow from the tongue...

Aaah, but that's just a minor detail. Tara used that like Buffy used her glamour to woo the "important" people as well as winning over the hearts and minds of the Great Unwashed, and over the course of these last three chapters it has played out beautifully...

So were they still in Las Vegas this chap or Washington DC? You mentioned the Capitol building but there was no mention of them having traveled there, so I was mildly confused. No matter, though. The best part of all this was the aftermath of V's emergency broadcast and the Finn's unwitting reaction and subsequent upbraiding by Walsh as he was still on live television at the time (insert evil laugh here...) A call to arms like no other.

Definitely looking forward to your next installment. Remember, the price of freedom is eternal vigilance! (Who said that, Jefferson or Franklin?)
Comments from author:
No, they are in LA which is part of the Washington Region, but the Regional Capitol is in LA, but of course, public opinion means allot to Maggie, and who better to help her than the popular stars and movers and shakers.

Glad you're liking the story, and thanks for reviewing.

Review of chapter "Lucky One" from BotticellisMuse
Review:
Nice touch making Denis Buffy's friend instead. He's actually a nice ghost and ive wondered even before why Cordelia gets to have that when Buffy languish in sunnydale? It would have been good to have an invisible friend who helps around the house, welcomes her in the wee hours back from patrol. Ive really noticed and resent to a degree how nice life became for angelus and cordelia (getting paid for helping others etc) in the Ats series while Buffys life spirals down. And this is one reason that i like how you always portray the slayer--strong, capable, smart. She may make mistakes but will always atone and rectify them even if doing so kills her. A really fine job youre doing here..(dont listen to nitpickers who forgets that all this are fanfiction and a certain amount of disbelief is expected and that Buffyverse is always about more than logic!) Enough about that, still looking forward for more :)
Comments from author:
What a nice review, thank you.

I always loved Dennis character. He was so sweet, and only wanted someone to care for, and care about him. Simple needs, and he helped any way he could.

Feel exactly the same way about the huge chasm with how Angel & Cordelia were treated on AtS, and watching Buffy's spiral with only Spike to help her. Although, Spike redeemed himself in the end, it wasn't pretty at time after her return. It was as if Joss threw the kitchen sink at Buffy, and sent Angel and Cordelia for a spa day.

Thanks for reviewing, and I'm glad you're enjoying the story.
