A very intriguing addition to this. Again, poor Joyce. I think it's a nice touch that she has an inkling of Hathor's plans, and I like the interaction with Daniel.

0_0 Oh, that would be beyond horrendous to have an ongoing link with a Goa-uld! Poor Joyce.

Truly interesting take on the usual 'Halloween' story; I hope you continue with it as time and your muse allow. Thanks for sharing!

Good scenes. Are the books he brought her in English or ancient Egyptian, I wonder?

What's the Watchers' Council's take on all this? I have a feeling that the SGC could do with a visit from the Scoobies, with a properly subdued Ethan Rayne in tow...

Ah, good times. ..

The only way they're going to get some answers is if either the scoobies come forward/run into them again, or if the idiot watchers council comes forward...

The Scoobies need to marshall their magical resources and mount a rescue - if the SGC intends to indefinitely hold an American citizen without charge or trial, then they've become the enemy and should be treated as such.

And now just hope they are willing to believe her. But the fact she knows that there are such coordinates might just convince them...

Thanks for writing

If Joyce is starting to give out information perhaps she is starting to trust SG1. I can only hope they start to trust her too.

Review of chapter "Sense" from RevDorothyL
Review:
Poor Joyce! Stuck with the memories of a Goa'uld -- and one who's kinda psycho even by Goa'uld standards, no less -- and having nightmares about the things she did 'under the influence', while stuck at the SGC and far away from anyone who might actually be able to comfort her.

And, I suppose, poor Daniel! Since he's stuck trying to make sense of a tragedy that's so very Sunnydale, without the proper books on the occult to provide any hope of meaningful context, and probably can't help thinking that the intense emotional pain which poor Joyce Summers feels after being Goa'uld for one night is probably just a taste of what his own Sha're ('Shau'ri'?) will experience if he ever manages to find her and free her from Amaunet.

But at least there's bonus info for the SGC, to avoid that whole start-of-season-3 (was it?) mind-f**k by Hathor -- however much I might have enjoyed Jack O'Neill's reaction to being hugged by a naked Sam Carter during that incident! :)
