Review of chapter "Kissy Kissy Bang Bang -" from NamelessCritic
Review:
Doesn't Xander have the Orbs of Nezzla'Khan? Wouldn't the physical invulnerability would have kept him from getting shot?
Comments from author:
If he had them on him at the time, maybe. Remember: Warren's invulnerability went away when Buffy took them away in the episode, so if Xander wasn't carrying them...

Maybe. We're still not clear on whether they'd make him bulletproof or not.

Review of chapter "One Night in Sunnydale -" from (Recent Donor)redjacobson
Review:
Hey buddy; it's obvious that the title of the chapter is a play on "One Night In Bangkok" from the Musical "Chess" but were you aware that Murry Head, the singer of the song, is Anthony Stewart Head's brother? He also sang the role of Judas Iscariot in the original album of Jesus Christ Superstar (the one with Ian Gillan as Jesus)

Comments from author:
Yup. I sure was. It's kind of a triple play that way. ;)

Review:
I've always been a fan of the Xander/Cordelia ship and you've done an outstanding job here. GREAT dialog and a really happy feel to the whole thing. I'm looking forward to the sequel if life and inspiration ever manage to let you tackle it. :-)
Comments from author:
Heya, and thanks. ;)

Uh, didn't you used to have a lot more stories here? Or am I confusing you with another writer with a similar nick?

Sequel: It's on hold, but still being worked on. Problem is, the Hell-er-nator series has priority, and I'm working on the "Take Me & Stake Me" 'verse stuff while my inspiration for them is hot, and even though I write fast, I can only churn out so many words in a row. :)

Review:
Amazing work. I have seldom enjoyed a fanfic as much as this one. It was incredibly funny, and the dialogue was perfect, meaning that the characters all sounded exactly the way that I imagine that they would under these circumstances. Yes, some of the crossover elements were obscure, but they were so well integrated into the overall narrative that it all blended together seamlessly in the end. Done well you have. Look forward to a sequel I do.

Gnarf!

Review:
Yes, I have missed you, and I have deeply missed your writing. I don't review often on this site, but that's because I usually don't catch updates until stories are finished. That's sort of on purpose, because unfinished work kind of makes me anxious, and not in a fun way, but I digress. I'm thrilled to see you writing again, more than words can express while remaining meaningful.

Sorry for your troubles over the past few years, and I hope this is only the beginning of the many wonderful things life has in store for you.

Belief, love, & laughter,

Thanks. I seem to remember you reviewing "Anything for Love" and "Life is a Road" way back when? Or am I confusing you with another reviewer?

Know what you mean. I really hate getting wrapped up in a story and suddenly having it just *end* and go off into dead fic land. I decided that I won't do that to readers. I may not finish a series, always, but at least the individual stories in the series will be finished before I post them.

"Sorry for your troubles over the past few years, and I hope this is only the beginning of the many wonderful things life has in store for you."

Meh. Life is like that. It has its bad points and low points, like anything else. Thanks for the well wishes. And I hope you enjoy the new stuff - I like to think I've improved a bit as a writer.

Absolutely loved this - I just have one question - Cordy in the leather outfit and braid - is this a shout out to Charisma Carpenter in Legend of the Seeker? She made one hot Mord Sith :)
Comments from author:
Yup. I'm glad someone caught that. Definite shout out - and I loved that outfit. Mrrrowwlll. :)

Great story. i am also a big fan of the Xander/Cordy pairing and agree with many of your thoughts on how that was handled. I am looking forward to your next part of this story.

P.S. - I noticed that some of the names in your cast list are reversed. Just an FYI.
Comments from author:
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. :)

And thanks, also: got the FYI from another reviewer, just haven't managed to get around to editing and fixing that yet. I will - thanks for catching it and the head's up.

Should be a good read when you get to it. Just read the first chapter of Hell-a-nator 2 or is it 3? Oh well it is your newest one and I am hoping for good reads for both.
Comments from author:
Two. And thanks. Hope you enjoy it as it unfolds.

Thanks. Don't hold your breath - I make no promises on just when I'll have Book II finished. I'm currently knee deep in Book III of the Hell-er-nator series.

I've always had a fondness for scenes in Willy's. He's always so spineless that I have wondered whether he is some sort of inverterbrate demon.
"Michelle" huh? Should that be read to indicate she is a doppleganger and the 'original' Faith is still cooling her heels, or is that Cordy's effort to distance the new contrite Faith from her actions in the past?
And, BTW, I very much approve of the artwork featuring Ms. Chase-Harris. Very ummm, esthetically pleasing.

Circling back around to the larger concepts presented, I have often contemplated the fighteningly high cost that fighting the Good Fight has inflicted, even (or perhaps especially) on the survivors. Both the Scoobies and the Fang Gang have seen casualty rates among their own comrades on a par with front-line combat units, not to mention any guilt about the many innocents they failed to save. Add to that the fact that most if not all of them have been more than a bit dark and ruthless in their own actions, and the psychic and spiritual toll must be getting pretty high. I can almost picture a story where Tara or one of their other allies start pulling away from the Scoobies/Fang Gang because they are now too tainted to be properly considered White Hats. (Or perhaps, a story where they have to make their own quest to restore their purity, or some such.)
Comments from author:
"or is that Cordy's effort to distance the new contrite Faith from her actions in the past?"

The latter. Can't very well be running around Sunnydale with a wanted felon and escaped prisoner calling her "Faith", now, can they? ;) Might as well wear a sandwich sign saying "Here I am! Come arrest me for harboring a fugitive!"

Even in Sunnydale. Munroe already is ticked off at Cordelia, and would probably love an excuse to arrest her and Xander.

"And, BTW, I very much approve of the artwork featuring Ms. Chase-Harris. Very ummm, esthetically pleasing."

Thanks. I really like the fact that the theme of this fic gives me an excuse to play around in photoshop with a scantily clad Cordelia. :)
