Review of chapter "Chapter Thirty" from Marcel
Review:
Wow! I'm sorry I haven't discovered this earlier, but at least I got a ton of reading out of it. I'm starting the second story right after I click the "Submit Review" button :)

Yep, another review from me! In this edition, I come out with a suggestion! :D

Well, not much of one. But it might have merit for you. In the sequel of Nacht, you could bring in another person from the Buffy-verse. It definitely might add to it, especially if the person turns out to be Willow! :)

I loved this story! It was absolutely amazing (like I had any doubt, since this was a batzulger story!)!

Now, I have two requests for you:

1) Make the sequel to this story!

and 2) Maybe see if you can make a crossover of Buffy with Firefly.

I don't know whether to be more jealous of your talent or the fact that you've managed to collect a complete run of Doc Savage and Shadow pulps to research this story....
Comments from author:
I've been collecting them since the 70s to be honest.

Ok, that was a total surprise. I had wondered a little about the language used but figured she was just trying to fit in better. Cool Story. Hopefully there is a sequel.

Review of chapter "Chapter Twenty Five" from DieselDriver
Review:
From what I remember of reading the Doc Savage books so many years ago (not a lot), this story is almost exactly the kind of super science stuff that went on in that universe. Really well done.

Ah man, the music would have driven me crazy if I'd had to listen to it. Jazz??? Yuck! I have weird tastes though. Like Wagner, Beethoven, Scorpions, Led Zeppelin, along those lines. Little bit of classical, little bit of old time metal. Holst's Mars and Jupiter are really cool.

"Now I just had to find out what bakelite was..." I laughed a lot here. Do they even use bakelite any longer? I don't think I've seen any in decades.

Review of chapter "Chapter Eleven" from DieselDriver
Review:
I can see why some are nostalgic for simpler times. Things are interesting now, but complicated. Sometimes those complications are a pain in the bottom. On the other hand I really like my AC, my smart phone, EFI instead of a carburetor etc. Disk brakes are a boon too. I can barely remember when there were only 3 freeways in Los Angeles. I used to be in the air force, 1969 to 1977, and in 1970 was stationed at March AFB south east of Riverside. Loved to watch the races at Riverside Raceway. It's a housing tract now. Also, my parents lived a few miles north of Ventura. I could leave my barracks at 4:00 PM and be at my parent's house, 156 miles away, in 2 hours and 10 minutes driving straight through LA at 5PM on a Friday afternoon. You couldn't do that now with a highway patrol car with lights and siren going. Heh, I was driving a 63 Corvair Spyder, turbocharged convertible. Shades of things to come. Turbos are finally becoming ubiquitous. Things were so much simpler then. and that's only half way back to the time of this story. Think of all the changes. Pretty freaking amazing. This story highlights them very well. More please!

Whoa! A silent shotgun shell. Pretty cool idea. Been a REALLY long time since I read the Doc Savage books. Darn near 50 years. Thanks for the memories.

Hmmm. Different. Reminds me of Helsinger a little. Looking forward to reading more. I hope the rest is as good as this start.

Review:
Wow. Sorry to see this installment is done. I hope to see another.

I kind of thought that our heroine wasn't Buffy just from the coyness the Distinguished Author was exhibiting about her identity.

Great job.

Loved the story even though she wasn't Buffy. This does call for follow up. Why is Kennedy here? How did she get here? Who is the villain? good luck

Review:
You are EVIL!

One issue I have, though. I seem to recall Kennedy as being Latina, but yet I had the impression "Betty" was able to traverse all sections of society in 1930s New York. Am I misremembering (either who played Kennedy or your story), or are you positing a Depression-era Gotham that doesn't treat Puerto Ricans and other Hispanics as second-(or even third-) class citizens?
Comments from author:
Last name she used a lot was Del Rio remember
