Well, kind of a jaedy view for this early in the show, but then, they see her as one of the bad guys.

Review of chapter "The New Step 3 – Defection" from (Current Donor)Ironbear
Review:
I'm kind of looking forward to seeing what you do with this one, and where it goes. Lilah well written is always a good read, and you have a good grasp of her characterization.

Chapters are a bit short for my tastes, but at least they're entertaining and riveting.

Review of chapter "Derailment" from Hyperion
Review:
Nice new chapter and looking forward to seeing where you take this in the future.

I like the idea of seeing the Fang Gang destroying the Wolfram & Hart warehouse and saving the infants. Even if it's not a major blow to their operations, it will be interesting seeing Wolfram & Hart being forced onto the defensive for a change instead of doing whatever they want and the Fang Gang being the ones having to react.

Having Lilah's mother kidnapped is rather interesting and a challenge in and of itself. Her mother is the only thing we know of outside of her own career that Lilah seemed to worry about or truly care about(not counting her relationship with Wesley). On the one hand, trying to rescue her would be a reasonable goal. OTOH, bad as it would be, "Angel" and "Buffy" where never shy about killing off people, even main characters from time to time. If something happens to her mother, I could see her teaming up with Angel Investigations and possibly the folks in Sunnydale and all but declaring war on Wolfram & Hart and their clients.

One thing I'd be interested in also. Even if she's not fully aware of the organization or their exact role with Wolfram & Hart, I wonder if Lilah is aware of the Circle of the Black Thorn, or at least aware that some of the members are involved with Wolfram & Hart. Even if they don't go after the organization as a whole, maybe that demon Senator or another individual member might become a target.

Looks like she'll be sticking with the Fang Gang for a while. At least they took down the warehouse with her info.

Review of chapter "Step 2 - Bribery" from Hyperion
Review:
Lilah really knows how to screw Wolfram & Hart good. I approve of this action.

I don't know if that was just filler information or what, but since Lilah mentioned that Wolfram & Hart had information on Buffy and the folks in Sunnydale, depending on where this storyline goes, any possibility of Angel Investigations giving Buffy or Giles a call or visit to pass along some information?

Even if Lindsey has Lilah's mother in captivity, her idea of giving copies of the information she has to Angel might be a good way to further throw W&H off balance, especially if Angel decides that going after a few clients or some of their operations is a good idea over the coming days and weeks.

I'd be kind if interested to see also if the Senior Partners decide that some of the upper management in the LA branch are no longer fit for their jobs.

Review of chapter "Step 2 - Bribery" from (Current Donor)JanessaRavenwood
Review:
Lilah's still living up to her reputation, I see.

One nitpick - there's *no way* she could fit a tiny fraction of all that info on floppies - you should re-write that into a portable HD, at least a few TB.
Comments from author:
This is still 2001, and only part of the information she has.

Review of chapter "Step 2 - Bribery" from cmdruhura
Review:
Somehow I don't think Lila would overlook such an obvious vulnerability, especially since she wouldn't be able to conveniently stop by and check up on her while on the run. Of course the impromptu initialization of her plan could have delayed whatever contingencies she had to cover that aspect of her life.
Comments from author:
Its not so much that she overlooked it as she simply didn't realize that Lindsey knew where her mother was.

Review of chapter "Step 2 - Bribery" from AllenPitt
Review:
I'm kind of surprised she hasn't already put in place a contingency plan for her mother. Maybe she's already had her moved? Tough to manage though, as she needs care. Lindsay in a way is paying her a compliment, he thinks holding her mother would give him leverage over her.
On not being able to stop the remote hack. Duh. Shut down their internet connection. no outside link, no downloading of data. That would be expensive, but my guess is, less expensive than all of them going to jail. People don't think of things like that when under stress, of course.
Great divergence point for the story... hm, if they hand some of this info over to their cop contact, maybe that person can avoid getting canned like she did later in the series...
Comments from author:
This is set right at the tail end of episode 2x18 (remember, the evil hand scene is where the divergence has happened). Lockely has already been canned.

I'm glad you liked it. And on the internet, I'm quite positive Lilah would have planned for that too, Allen. :P

The whole thing with her mother: Lindsey's whole point was that he knew where her mother was, something Lilah wouldn't know - that's what Lindsey was saying about her not hiding everything.
