Review:
great writing but I most say I loved chapter 10 better than chapter 7.
I hope there will be more. I really liked the one where Jack is Buffy's dad Oh who am I kidding they are all good.

Outstanding ! I love Willow's explanation of magic. It makes perfect sense and is completely incomprehensible.
Comments from author:
Thanks for letting me know it worked. I was nervous about that part.

Review of chapter "I am What I am and so are you" from LaFlooze
Review:
I like this version better. I think it makes more sense for Buffy to seek out Jack at home rather than heading straight to the mountain and possibly getting herself shot by the guards. Or making them even more suspicious of her because of her cat burglar act than they naturally would be. This way also leads to fun one-on-one time with Jack!
Comments from author:
Thanks, I liked the one on one with Jack away from the Mountain too. I was thinking I might try for more if I can manage it.

Review of chapter "Uncle Sam Needs You" from (Current Donor)mmooch
Review:
Really like this story idea, especially that Buffy got help from General Frank for two of the problems in her life she can't solve with violence (school and her mom). They owed her big time and she deserves a little something back for her troubles.
Comments from author:
Yeah, MissE has some good story ideas, easy to run wild with. Thanks!

Review of chapter "Open Wounds Conclusion" from Rich
Review:
A very nice wrap up. In the (probably unlikely) event that you find yourself temporarily out of ideas, this arc could easily be expanded into a much larger story. Well done.
Comments from author:
Thanks again, and as always, if I think up more story, I'll post it, whether I have too many ideas or not.

Review of chapter "Open Wounds Part Two" from spk
Review:
OMG! I LOVE Buffy "real family" stories. After reading this update, I can't stop saying "Oh my God" over and over. Definitely hope we'll get more soon. :)
Comments from author:
I'm working on it, but thanks so much for the review! I always have fun writing these stories, and it's nice to know you like it. I am a little better at longer chapters with fewer updates, so it might be a little while, but I've got a lot written for that story, so hopefully soon. Thanks again!

Review of chapter "Open Wounds Part Two" from lateVMlover
Review:
I really liked this. I hope it's not one of your many almost stories that you never finish. That's the frustrating thing about follow you. You write a great chapter or two that never seems complete and then move on to something else when you post next. This last two though is not finished. I hope you write more!
Comments from author:
Arg, I know, that's sort of why they're here and not their own separate stories, because I was afraid to commit to something I couldn't finish. I'm still working on all four of the stories that are meant to have sequels and some that aren't, and the Harry Potter one, and the new stuff that pops into my brain all the time, and original stories so it's sort of spreading things out a little too much right now. Somethings have to give, and on top of that I have school and I work full time, but I haven't forgotten them, and I'm still writing pretty much every day. Believe me, I feel the frustration too, and I wish endings were easier to write, but they're evil tricky bastards that I'm no good at. Thanks for the support and encouragement. It always helps to know that you like it and want more. Thanks!

A much-better-than-average "first contact" story, and part 2 sounds promising. Good work.
Comments from author:
Thanks Rich, it was a lot of fun. Part two is about half way done.
