How Peeves Saved The Wizarding World

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from (Current Donor)dogbertcarroll
Review:
I'd suggest two changes, peeves can not create fire as far as I know, but there are plenty of lit candles all around the great hall, and if someone dies while under polyjuice they are stuck in that form, which is how Jr, escaped Azkaban in the first place, so have a different way for the real Moody being discovered. Other than that a great one shot that I enjoyed reading. Kudos!

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Cateagle
Review:
Crackfic, but most enjoyable crackfic and definitely one of the lesser probabilities in the wizarding world (still, out of an infinity of alternate universes, it could happen). I have to wonder how the wizarding world would react if they ever found out (oh, the ignomy of it, saved by a poltergeist).

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from (Current Donor)JanessaRavenwood
Review:
It was interesting idea for a FWOAN story, but it's only halfway credible if you take numerous liberties with HP canon.
Comments from author:
Isn't 'numerous liberties' the point of it all? But, okay, then:

Right after Peeves flew through the Great Hall wall, an oddly familiar humming sound to most of the muggleborn students reverberated through the room. This noise was coming from the Goblet of Fire, which next produced directly above this magical item a glowing bar of light which moved from the left to the right before vanishing. Next, another piece of parchment fluttered upwards from the goblet's bowl.

For a man well past the century mark and wearing a full-length robe, Dumbledore could move really fast when he had to. In a blur of spindly shanks, this Headmaster dashed to just under the descending piece of parchment, made a frantic leap with impressive hang time, and snatched this paper from the air. Even before he hit the ground again, Dumbledore bellowed the name he'd just read on the parchment, "HARRY POTTER!"

Over the following months in which the Triwizard Tournament took place, the muggleborn soon forgot about ever asking just why and how the Goblet of Fire could act like an Xerox copier machine...

After that, it was back on the canon track, chuggin' down the next couple of novels and a few million words to "All was well."

Happy now?

Review:
It's definitely a lighthearted end to the series. Yes, Rowling had a decent ending. But Peeves definitely could be the power Voldie knew not.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Rich
Review:
Excellent !! And given the "realities" of the HP verse, it's actually rather plausible.

Good idea, and nicely executed. I can see that happen, especially Dumbledore falling prey to his own stupidity.
