Review of chapter "Predetermined" from AllenPitt
Review:
This gets convoluted. Harry is the one who sent her back in the past...but that means it was from the timeline where his parents were dead. Unless everyone thought they were but they weren't? And the story that he was raised by the Dursleys was just a story?...
It would be deeply weird for a Buffy in her mid 30s to show up in Sunnydale right after she'd left. Oldest slayer ever.

This is going to bite everyone in the ass and I want Buffy to be there to say "I told you so" to Dumbledore.

Review:
Sigh. They're willfully blind. Hopefully with Buffy there, they won't swap secret keepers at the last moment, or at least they'll choose her instead of Peter.

*Facepalm* For people that are at war with Deatheaters they sure are being stupid. Stun first ask questions later and have a healthy dose of paranoia. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get ya...

Poor Buffy! She doesn't even know for sure that Peter is the traitor, but at least she is putting doubt in James and Lily's mind.Excellent update!

I totally agree with the reviewer mistofrainbows. They are so stupid and Dumbledore and Remus when everything happened they were fast enough to blame Sirius. How sad is that.

Arghh so frustrating.

I think I'm done... Don't take this the wrong way but I'm a bit tired of the blatant stupidity on the part of all of the people.

Also error: "ainst them he done nothing, " done should be did.

They have truth potions, they have pensieves. Dumbledore would have/should have pulled out a pensieve and looked at the memories. She could slip a potion into Peter's drink. They have a lot of options and it's just blatant stupidity on everyone's part not to use them. I'd be suspicious of Peter for not helping... I mean seriously I'd want to see the memories if only so that I could explain it away... this willful stupidity ruins the story for me.

They have plenty of reasons to think that something is going on. You're just making them willfully stupid which is sad because it was an interesting concept and other aspects of the story are enjoyable but this just ruins it for me. Sorry, I don't mean to sound harsh but they have various ways to test things and they're not doing it. I don't really care that he's their friend. They know that someone is selling them out. At that point you carefully look at stuff and this blatant stupidity on their part ruins things.

Thanks for pointing out that error, I'll make sure I get if fixed :). And I don't blame you at all for thinking that, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Me personally, I see it more as blind faith and trust in a friend that they have known and loved for years rather than stupidity but that's just my own reasoning.

At any rate, all I can say is thank you for coming this far with the story. I hope you enjoyed it for a little while at least :)

Review of chapter "Intervention" from ShalaDakiri
Review:
And there's the problem with instinctive reactions. Buffy's the outsider in this situation which means that she doesn't have past experience telling her it *can't* be Peter, but she also doesn't have enough pull to convince anyone without irrefutable evidence.

Although I did cringe at Dumbledore's insistance on being the best person to flush out the spy,

Review:
It's not stupidity.... I mean, we've read the books, probably seen the films, we all know Peter is a traitor. But at the time he was this non-entity who tagged along after the other Marauders. Not very brave, but nobody thought of him as a possibly spy. All the suspicions fell on Remus at the time.
The interesting stuff will be if/when the prophecy is heard, the Potters have to go into hiding. Will Buffy reveal anything of what she knows about Harry? And...will she end up changing anything? In a weird way she'd be hurting the good guy's cause if she outs Peter -'cause then Voldemort won't 'mark Harry as his equal', and might not be overthrown. Some things have to happen....
