Review:
I love how a plan comes together. They pull this off, i hope she and the Council gain the hero community's respect. Meaning, leave them alone.
Comments from author:
To be honest, the Council's kinda small potatoes
next to the Inhumans, Asgardians, Atlanteans etc.

Thanks for the review.

Review of chapter "7" from DarthTenebrus
Review:
This is for the whole series. The first one, "Darker Reign", is a tale of desperation darkness, and for the most part, it is quite sufficiently dark and bleak, although I cannot help but wonder whether the character of Sentry might have been overplayed to an extent. Near the end he seems to have godlike powers and physical strength. Then the aftermath peters out at the end in the conference, and whilst it leaves room for more, it does seem rather anticlimactic.

Some years pass, and the United States, as well as Asgard, has bounced back from Osborn's devastation, only to face a massive number of alien ships under the command of Thanos, the self-proclaimed "Mad Titan". I believe I read somewhere that Thanos is a derivation of the Greek word -Thanatos-, which means -death-...in "The Oblivion Wave", you have him portrayed as an immensely powerful warlord that, with all his abilities, stacks up next to the likes of the Hulk and Thor as nearly equal. I do, however, like the way you have him portrayed in one of the many codices of the Watchers' Council's extensive archives.

So let's see how the rest of this plays out...
Comments from author:
You're at least partially right on Sentry. However, in my defence
it was how he was portrayed (however accurately is certainly
arguable), in Bendis' 'Dark Reign'. The story has him even more
overpowered (tearing Ares in two, resurrecting dead people).

Thanks for the review.

Review of chapter "7" from (Current Donor)WildMartin
Review:
Great chapter and I doubt you've overlooked this, but many villains don't take kindly to space invasions either. In the words of Spike, "I like the world just the way it is." Victor Von Doom does not take kindly to those who would harm those under his care and he has taken down cosmic entities like the Rogue Watcher Aaron and the Silver Surfer before. Draining them of their cosmic power and taking it for himself. He has also escaped from Mephistopheles before as well. Doom aside, I think Thanos has plenty of surprises waiting to confront him.
Comments from author:
:D

I can confirm Victor Von Doom will be a target of Thanos.

The Summer brothers aren't immune to each other powers?

Did Rulk lose his radiation absorbing power?
Comments from author:
I think he only had it originally through his
creator's run. But I could be wrong.

Review:
Thor is indeed quite powerful, enough to defeat the Hulk on his own, but he holds back cause the Hulk is innocent.
Comments from author:
There's his teleportation powers, elemental powers, his God Blast, as well as his strength that's on par with the Hulk.

You have to be a cosmic to defeat him, Silver Surfer and up...

Thanks for the review.

Review:
Thanos, you don't know humanity very much, do you?

Are you gonna play with the whole "Death is her gift" thing the slayers have? Because it would be quite interesting. And after all Thanos unlike Darkseid is suicidal, all he wants is to die to reunite himself with death, who he loves.
Comments from author:
Thanos is a braggadocios fool.

Great way to ensure your enemies continue to fight. Just tell them they're going to die no matter what.
Comments from author:
Yep, but then Thanos doesn't much care if his rivals fight or not
he just steamrollers them anyway...
