Review of chapter "Chapter Five" from fireballninehundred
Review:
I love the last bit. Especially the whole 'and I'm a lesbian.' Which really does disqualify him.
I'd like a scene where we get someone/somepeople assuming that Xander, Dawn and Kennedy are together. And maybe some more Dawn/Kennedy bonding, because I'd like to see some more on how Dawn deals with the whole Kennedy-Xander partnerships.
But yes, it's a brilliant piece, and you've done the whole thing great justice.
And the whole 'lesbian' damsel is a funny twist too. Especially when it's the /damsel/ who has superpowers.

I'm enjoying these - the interplay and the general air of iffy and contradictory assumptions is a very fun read.

I love stories that flesh out minor characters and this is better than most.

I find these bits to be a fun and effective read but I can not get a handle on where the fic is going so I do hope that there are more of these delightful pieces
Thanks

This is really a lot better than I expected from the summary. I think if you re-write that, you might get more people interested in reading the vignettes.

And in my personal opinion, a writer should ask for every comment, kind or not. We improve when people point out the flaws in our work. (Lord knows I have a few dozen recurring flaws in mine.) We also become stronger when we learn to deal with those 'I hate so-and-so and you wrote about her so I hate you too!' reviews. (Okay, I simply do not review TtH stories I don't like - it's easier on everyone. So I'm being sort of hypocritical here.) The most helpful reviews I have ever received have been critical, and it is really hard to write a critical review and not come off like a rabid wolverine. :D

Review:
Sort of falls in line with Simon R. Green's Blue Moon Rising. Slightly. The summary fit a little with the book.

What does a prince do when he's sent out to kill a dragon, and the maiden is too busy enjoying the freedom talking with it and just being free of the courts, to come back. Especially when the prince isn't particularly keen on dying.

Obviously the story doesn't match up. just wanted to share what came to mind from the summary.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Vorchan
Review:
Sorry, I reviewed backwards... so this is really the review of the entire piece written so far.
I like Kennedy here, quite a lot! For a number of reasons.
I was right: she wants to be a heroine, a 'warrior woman', not really a problem- she's a tomboy.
It's gentle, and I like that a lot!
It's pure and decent, and I like that a lot too!
She's trying to be a good woman in her own way, and I like that... though the First would probably take full advantage of her orientation here (as it would magnify any lust in anybody it can- that's any human in this life!), so she'd be greatly outmatched!
I thought the concept of 'rescuer Kennedy' is a good concept too. The heroine, the one to stop abuse in it's tracks, the one to bail out the suffering ones,,, that I think is her self-image-goal.
If anything, your rendition of Kennedy is motivated by love; Congradulations and KUDOS on that!
It's a delight to read this!

Well, this is Kennedy's thoughts on the situation with her break-up with Willow. Kennedy strikes me as a bit of a tomboy in her personality here and in other 'late Buffy stories'.
I would not think she would be competing with Xander, though., interesting...
I would like to read the rest and the sequel (if you plan on writing one).
This is really quite good!

Review:
I really like Kennedy's POV here, she IS a tomboy, I think, and the story is pure.
She also correctly perceives (I think, again) that Xander's bond with Willow is that of a brother, she sees him in that light, so of course they'd be friends.
This story is nearly Perfect, and as far as Kennedy's predilections go, she's as perfect as can be here!
If I were in the room, I believe my reaction would be to walk over to the Latina, and sort-of place an arm around her in a friendly way, next I'd say "I don't believe you are jealous, not in the least, and I like that you wanted to be the rescuer..." et cetera. Friendly conversation.
Here, her personality is very beautiful, I think.
Of course, the princess sometimes IS the monster!
