""Then Vincent asked me a question that made me think I'd and enough to eat. 'What?'

'You heard me,' he said softly.

I hesitated, and tried not to fidget. 'No,' I answered, on guard. I hadn't had a lot of dreams but I'd had a few reoccurring ones that still made zero sense and I was still trying to make decipher. "Why?'"

Did you _intentionally_ leave out the actual question, or was it an oops? I assume the missing question was: "Have you had any 'Slayer dreams'?" or "Have you had any dreams'?"

Comments from author:

Not an oops. I figured that was obvious, in terms of the dreams….apparently not...

Ultimately, what I want you to always ask yourself is this: What does Section know about Buffy? What does Vincent know about Buffy?"

****

I figured that _assuming_ that Buffy wound up on a purely "mundane" earth, like ours, sans magic, vampires, monsters and Slayers, then it would mostly depend on how much information they extracted under drugs and in other interrogations. Noting that they might have used drugs (like "roofies") that erase memories of periods of extreme pressure (torture) so she didn't remember the sessions. Then there was any data their medical and training testing produced. Then there is whatever data or information Hermione or other of the "odd" "recruits" to Section might told them (from their own worlds) or been able to extract from Buffy using their own methods.

With no good idea how resistant Buffy was to their drugs and other methods, I have little idea _what_ they know.

I was assuming that they at least know that Buffy has "interesting" dreams and that they are sometimes prophetic, or that at least Buffy _thinks_ they are. Obviously, an agent with real prophetic dreams would be of great interest to them. But for all they know, Buffy was a delusional loony (like she was in one TV episode) who came to them straight from a violent ward in a mental hospital.

Obviously if she _had_ an accurate prophetic dream about mission, including things she _couldn't_ have known, then it would confirm her possible value for something besides being merely a better than average expendable recruit assassin.

I assume that they know that she is unusual, but given that they are apparently using the standard "sink-or-swim mission" protocol with Buffy, I doubt that they think that she if really of great value to them.

Obviously if she _had_ an accurate prophetic dream about the mission, including things she _couldn't_ have known, then it would confirm her possible value for something besides being merely a better than average expendable recruit assassin.

Right out of the movie(s) so far, except for telling her to exit thru the bathroom
window that they _knew_ was bricked up. So I assume that the car will be gone
and she will have to locate and reach the café.

Wondering (A) if the ring has a tracker in it, and (B) if the story is going to follow the movies with Buffy getting her first Kill assignment in a restaurant....

Wonderfully done! The old Nikita was a favorite show along with Buffy, so wonderful to see them crossed. The writing is crisp and interesting. Thank you and I eagerly await more
Comments from author:
Thanks!!! Most peeps forget the 90s Nikita, which is a HUGE shame. That show was sooooo freaking gorgeous & ahead of its time. Hope you continue... ;)

So... the vamp from that Canadian tv show? Section has really lucked out. Not just in getting a bunch of super humans, but having the ability to nuke their memories, too. Buffy with all her memories wouldn't be so easily containable, same with the others.
Now all they need is Bo from "Lost Girl"...... makes one wonder what the mission is that they're needed for. Or if any of their past associates will ever show up. I can just picture Willow doing a spell to find Buffy.

so a bunch of supernatural types fell through rifts before Buffy's blood closed it up... I wonder if B's amnesia is 'natural' or the witch's doing. If even one vampire came through the rift and didn't get captured, Section's world is in for a very rough time. Virgin field epidemic territory. Though I suppose "Sam" might be Carter with a Goa'uld device?

Trying to figure out the origin of the people and how they got there.

A Slayer, a witch, a least one man who is Buffy's physical match.
Wondering if Buffy has her full Slayer strength, endurance and speed,
if so that means Vincent is a near super-human.
At least one vampire or other type of demon to ping Buffy's Slaydar.

Given that they reportedly show up with amnesia and/or traumatized (Hermione),
wondering who or what sends or delivers them.

Lots o Questions....

Row 19, Plot 95, meaning you get a grave and not even a tombstone, much less a name on it.

Nicely written. But i hope B gets it into Sections brainless egotisical mindless moronic head that B is a protector not a mindless killer. Death is her gift and Section seems monstrous enough no matter how "good" they proclaim to be, they could become the target. Like the Initative..good intentions, or the Watchers Council. Threatening her with death? Hope she just shows them the "fear" they want to see. Idiots. Program her to kill "bad" guys and any collateral damage like innocents will only piss her off (hopefully). Nuclear Buffy would be fun to see. Section getting sanctioned would be very entertaining.
