Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from BlueEyedBrigadier
Kind of anti-climactic but oddly fitting that Wilkins gets offed like a little beyotch after decades of planning ;D
Comments from author:
Yeah, he ended up being treated as almost an afterthought, didn't he. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from sdavidm
Interesting start. A bit too much time spent in back story, but hopefully you can really get the story going now.
Comments from author:
Without the back story to explain what had happened, the returnees' plans won't really make much sense.

But they're free to start the real work, now.

Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from Starfox
Nice dealing with the Mayor. Can't wait until Xander meets Jack O'Neill. The snark will run strong in that Meeting I guess.
Comments from author:
I rather doubt that that particular meeting is going to go the way people expect it will. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from Cateagle
*Snicker* Very nice job of cleanup it does, too. I'm certain that the PTB will not enjoy this perturbation of events beyond their control (not that anyone really cares what they think). Those are some nice "toys" and I'd love to play around with them (nothing says you care like using the most potent weaponry possible). The sequel to this one should make for most interesting reading.
Comments from author:
The majority of the returnees' plans have yet to be revealed, and NOBODY interested in maintaining the current status quo is going to like what's in store. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from (Recent Donor)redjacobson
Poor old Mayor Wilkins! He just really didn't have a good day, did he? *GRIN* And I imagine his patrons aren't going to be too happy to see him when he arrives in their domain after all the promises he made to them

Fun stuff buddy, looking forward to more

Comments from author:
Yeah, there are any number of surprises still waiting to be delivered, as you'll see in the next story in this series, man. ;-)

Well, good on Xander, and nice to see the mayors smugness get broken at the last moment, and seeing that Xander doesn't have time to fool around when there's more important things coming.
Comments from author:
Yeah, as Xander said, now it's time to deal with the *important* things. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from DarthTenebrus

While I can't shed any tears for the late and unlamented Mayor Wilkins, I never expected that his assassination would have been done so simply, given all the wards and spells he would have apparently weaved about his person. I suppose one could call it poetic justice, hmmm?
Comments from author:
Yeah, the funny thing is, I can think of several additional ways to deal with Wilkins, even after the 'Hundred Days' begins which render him completely ineffective until his Ascension rolls around. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from AnimeRonin
Somewhat anti-climactic with the zat but... hey, it worked. Especially liked the Skip bit.

Anyone else's future going to be stuck in the blender and hit frappe'?
Comments from author:
Xander didn't use a zat on Wilkins, he used a power magnum, which is a canon weapon from Stargate: Atlantis.

He did use a zat on Skip, though. ;-)

Is the "Power Magnum" a renamed or reverse engineered Zat or derived from Zat tech, or something else entirely that has kill and disintegrate capabilities?
Comments from author:
The power magnum is a canon weapon straight from Stargate: Atlantis.

Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from AlecMcDowell
Ha! Depending on how much info Xander and company got from the SGC in their future, the US government is probably shitting themselves pretty hard right now. I love it. I'm also a pretty big fan of Xander being an Immortal and thus not super-powered up here. It works really well that he's ore or less un-killable and I'd imagine if he wanted to at some point he could fashion together a trinium collar/neck guard to make his head pretty hard to take off.

Can't wait to see the aftermath of this chapter, I'm looking forward to Xander recruiting more allies and some looks at reactions from other fandom characters
Comments from author:
The returnees are more concerned with the *world* surviving, than any particular government or political party/parties staying in charge.

There are gonna be some fun encounters coming up. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter Two" from Cdog
You've got an interesting storyline going. One thing you need to fix is the Wes part in chapter one though.

According to the story, Xander didn't become immortal till 15+ years after season 7. By that time the Watchers as they are now should have been killed by The First or Wes should have never even been involved with the reveal since he wasn't a good ol' boy by that point in time.

As far as Xander and Cordelia are concerned... Eh. Didn't like, didn't hate it.

Waiting to see where you go with this.
Comments from author:
Actually, I was using that comment to show that the future which Xander comes from is not the standard canon Joss-verse, although it is similar in a great aspects.

And at that point in time, after the way Cordy ahd been treating him for the past few weeks, I can't see Xander really liking her all that much.

The next chapter will begin to show the major points of departure from the time travelers' past history.
