Review of chapter "Epilogue" from okelay
Review:
this was really fun, all the characters and universe merged in a good way, it was fun seeing Xander and Andrew knowing who the Doctor was and i enjoyed Aziraphale and Crowley stalking Giles and all their arguments and their ending. very cute.

Mandy was a nice addition. it was a good explanation for her disappearance.and poor Sam, stuck in the middle of that.

This was mad. I really liked the first at the end, and how it fits into the story. Poor Sam. I've never read Good Omens, but I have always meant to. I liked the stuff with the time too. Everything, really, brilliant story. Just what I need as a pick me up.

So many comments jostling about in my brain ... I laughed when characters started noticing the time confusion -- how nice to have an explanation for those very long nights and short days and other peculiar time events during the last couple of seasons of BtVS! Xander telling Buffy the Doctor wasn't real -- heh, it would have been even better if the Doctor had told Xander that Buffy's in a tv show too. And Sam wandering through it all in a state of confusion, but tossing all the vampires out of the bar with his legalese magic. And seriously, I adore that you wrote in scenes to explain the stuff from the Eye, and gave Giles a bit more incentive to conspire against Spike! Gosh. You said you wanted to explain, and you found a very entertaining and often amusing way to do so. Too bad you weren't writing for the shows. Oh, and I don't recognize the angel and demon, but you made good use of them. Especially the smiting. Loved that. Great story.
Comments from author:
Yeah, one of the things that bugged me about season seven is that they brought up the Eye of Botoxa (yeah, yeah, I know it's wrong, but whatev), had it say something about Buffy weirding out the slayer line, and then they *never* talked about it again. And I was doubly bugged by how Willow went over to Angel a week after she appeared on Angel; it was as if the writers and directors expected us not to notice, and it was a little bit insulting.

I'm glad you liked the story, and that you found it an okay explanation for the different issues. And hopefully you'll go off and read Good Omens, by Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett, as it's very, very funny (it's the source of the characters Crowley & Aziraphale). Thanks for the review!

I'm liking the Doctor Who part of the story, and don't care or know enough about the other characters. I'll probably come back to this story another time.
It's fun that only Xander (so far) knows the show, but I only shudder to think what Andrew would do if he were in the story. Is he?
Comments from author:
Unfortunately, Andrew doesn't have a large role in the story - though he is in there for a couple of scenes. Hope you enjoy the story if you come back to it later!
