snicker... just picturing that fight, and Warren just standing back watching. I'd think it would be an interesting change for him to NOT have to be the person in the middle of it all for once.
very nicely done. I also liked the bit about Logan having mentioned vampires, and the inference that Warren hadn't paid too much attention at the time. It shows some integration, and the (dismally unamusing) reactions of David's bodyguards to the fact that Warren was quite visibly a mutant was rather accurately along the lines of the mutant discrimination that we see in the X-Men comics.

OOooo, I like it. David is such a delightful character and you do him justice. Hiring the AI team was a stroke of genius. Warren's thoughts and actions throughout worked well of what I know of him [which is albeit little]. All in all, a very enjoyable fic!

Glad you enjoyed it, houses! It was unexpectedly fun to write, and nice to get a somewhat sideways look at the Buffyverse for a change too.
Bah! Bad computer! As I was saying, I thought that Warren used some sort of projector/hologram when he did business? Could be wrong, but I could have sworn he did at least for a bit. Of course, that would ruin this lovely story so ignore me...I'll just go eat up the easter sweets now...

I was going by the more recent(ish) comics where his identity is pretty well known to the public. Plus I figured Warren's the type of person to make the most out of every advantage he has. Pretty much like David Nabbit - everyone's so busy looking at their main label (Geek! or Mutant!) that they forget they're damn good businessmen.
like the fic great one, get some more, your David was spot on, and believalble, to friendlyu for his own good, his own workers are trying to kill him, he he he.
What about instead of Lilah running into Faith and recruiting her, David ran into her?

Interesting idea, and I might do something with that at some point.
