GREAT story so far! I can't wait to see what happens next! Honestly, I'd love to see: 1) A Buffy/(Bruce/Batman) pairing. 2) Buffy becomes a superhero -- and if the portal changed her so that she could pass for a relative of Superman, that might be cool... I'd like to see how she handles flying, etc. The only things I didn't like about the latest chapter is: 1) how slow the plot seems to be moving 2) that Buffy is going out with Lex when I thought that the League was trying to keep her away from him...that was a little confusing. 3) The later half of the Alfred-Buffy interaction. The letter opener was funny (although Buffy being jumpy enough to attack a human doesn't quite make sense, but can be overlooked considering the circumstances...she might be thinking this is some weird kind of hell dimension, after all, if it was where Glory's portal sent her...) but I didn't like Alfred not liking Buffy :-( & 4) I'm having a hard time placing this within the Justice League canon... For one thing the living arrangements don't make sense. I haven't seen JL Unlimited, but the only time I remember Lois living with Clark was during the Justice Lords episode... and I thought all of the members of the League lived seperately from one another... it could be a cover to provide Buffy with a place to stay, I suppose, but it was a little confusing... And I know it'd have to be pretty early, seeing as Lex isn't a criminal AND there's no animosity between Hawkgirl and the others, and only the original League members seem to be involved... so that means either before Lex was exposed as a criminal (which seems likely considering Bruce's explanation of why Buffy shouldn't trust Lex), or after the Justice Lords episode... Other than that, I've loved pretty much everything so far... I liked the interaction between Shayera and Buffy, and Diana and Buffy. I love the fact that she figured out who they were so easily... I was a little surprised that Buffy didn't react at all towards the Martian Manhunter, but I suppose if she researched the League and was watching the news about their involvment, etc., she would have expected it... Well, that's all I can think of to say for now...but I really would love to see more soon. So please keep up the good work and UPDATE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! Thanks! Bye for now! ^_^ ~ Jess S

Thanks for the review. the Lois Clark thing, I'm not saying they live together or anything... I don't think I am anyway. But the episode that inspired me to write this had them sitting together at dinner before Clark had to run off. It's set shortly before the episode where Superman get's tossed into the future where he has to fend for himself without superpowers. It was on Cartoon Network and I can't find it anymore, it's not JL Unlimited.
I hope to update soon... well as soon as I figure out how to get my computer back from the banishment bin that is.
I love it so far! And until the meeting with the Scooby gang, the parts with Elizabeth & the others were a bit difficult to understand, lol. This will be Bruce/Buffy right? If it is awesome.. Can't wait to read more!

Hola Harpie. Thanks for the review... and I'm sorry if anything was difficult to understand. Sometimes I end up writing whatever flows... and not really reading it until after it's been posted and then grimacing and running away with my nose... sort of funny but not.
This will be Bruce/Buffy eventually, I want her to try dating the normal way... random dates before realizing the right one was the one right from the beginning.

So glad to see more of your story. I am enjoying the way Buffy is adapting to her new world and new situation. I love that here she has a chance at a 'normal' life. I can see a strong appeal for just taking time to enjoy life and all it has to offer without being tied to her destiny. I wonder if she'll decide to end up working with the Justice League and Batman in the end though. Will be interesting to see what she decides to do in the end.
The video conference was fun. I like the subtle differences between the Scoobies and their lives in this dimension versus Buffy's dimension. Also enjoyed the official meeting between Buffy and the members of the League. I like the interactions between Buffy and Bruce and Buffy and Batman. LOVED that she put everything together. Everyone always underestimates Buffy's intelligence. Not to mention unlike the natives of Sunnydale (and evidently Metropolis and Gotham) she doesn't ignore the obvious.
Having Serena come along on the shopping trip for Buffy was fun. I liked her talking Buffy into picking up two kittens. A minor test perhaps?
Glad to see this story continuing. :)

I really like the concept of the story -- and part of it is we still don't know if Elizabeth Angel was a version of the vampire slayer "light" because deamons come from alternate dimensions, obviously. So if these folks don't deal with deamons -- are Liam and Spike some kind of immortal, but not vampires? It is a mystery.
The part of the story I like best so far is Buffy's wonderment and exploration of her experiences on the East Coast. I'm not sure if the West Coast people will fit in to the storytelling beyond knowing they exist.

Interesting chapter. I'm not really sure what you point is about having so many of the scoobies in this universe too, but at least Buffy will have a Giles to talk to.
