A bit early to say much about how this is going to progress, but the start is definitely interesting; natural scepticism at Tara's resurrection due to the presence of the First, an interesting touch with Duncan's contact with Tara's 'ancestor' (Given that Immortals are normally foundlings he probably wasn't a BIOLOGICAL relation), and so far everyone's response to the 'new' Tara seems to be pretty good...
Any chance you'll be updating this eventually?

I liked this story and I do hope you add more soon. I liked that Faith was the one to behead what's his face... also can't wait to see Willow's reaction.

I really really really really love this wonderful fic. However I am greatly angered that you haven't updated this wonderful fic is so long. I love the fact that Faith took out the bad guy because shooting your opponent just so that you don't have to fight so not cool. Please please please update this wonderful fic again soon.

I am over the moon having stumbled upon this site and more specifically your story. I've just read all 10 parts and I'm glad to see that it was updated within the last year :) I hope that means more to come. I was enthralled by the Highlander series when it aired and I love the idea of Tara being an Immortal. I like how you've written the characters so far and managed to insert bit of genuine humor in what could otherwise be a rather bleak story. I hope Kennedy doesn't turn all crazy with vengeance. She's flawed, but deserving of love and free of manipulation. Please keep it up!

Delighted to see this story continuing. I had lost track of it but I can track it now. I like the story and must say poor Kennedy, I never had anything against the character on the show, though I always though she was doomed to be rebound girl. That said I wonder what the first has set up for her now that Jensen is dead. I hope she cops on before the First has her killed. As for Willow and the lightening. It seems to me that Willow is sharing Tara's quickening in some way. I wonder does this mean that Willow will live as long as Tara lives. That would be a lot of pressure on Tara, she has to live for herself and to keep Willow alive. I also wonder if they are sharing a quickening then if Willow stops aging will she simply resume aging is a few centuries down the line Tara meets her final death?
I can see a lot of weird possibilities in that.
Comments from author:
No, Willow's not sharing Tara's Quickening...she's just really pissed off. Tara was shot...again...and we all saw how well she reacted last time to that event. So no, Willow isn't sharing Tara's quickening. As for Kennedy, yeah, I always saw her as rebound gal too. But I have no plans on killing her. I kinda like her, attitude aside, she reminds me of Faith. While Faith is tough, brazen and a very independant, Kennedy is more spoiled and immature. A reason to break up, not a reason to kill her.
I'm glad you like the story and I hope to have more soon.

This is very realistic (vampires and immortals aside). I really enjoy the characterisations the plot. I'll definitely be tracking.
Speaking of definitely, in the first chapters there were some definitely's that were misspelled. If you try and spell it 'definately' the spell check will change them to defiantly.
Thanks for the great read!

Uh oh. A pissed-off and powerful Willow. I hope Jansen is glad he died when he did, otherwise Willow probably would have ripped him apart piece by piece, Immortal or not.
Now, I just hope the rest of the world survives...
