I adored this whole story especially the pairings you really have a great way of seeing the essence of a character!

I would mail you money if you went back through this story and removed every fucking instance if Dawn saying "ohmigod". It's retarded, Dawn doesn't say it every fucking scene she is in on the show, and there's no reason to misspell it. "Oh My God!" has the same meaning and is spelled correctly. I'm honestly surprised, you took an incredibly annoying character and made her worse.

To be honest, if I went back and changed all the parts of this fic that weren't written as well I would like now, the whole fic would be re-written. But, since I last touched this fic in 2008, and I have been working hard on my writing since then, I leave this as a testament to remind me what not to do in future as well.

I absolutely adore this story. The whole concept was brilliant, and wonderfully executed. Read this over the course of two days, and I'm very sad it's over.

If you ever do a sequel, I'll definitely read it.

*high-fives fellow Host fan* With you all the way. He's got all of your stereotypical demon traits, while being one of the most genuinely decent beings on either series, hands down. He loves music, is good with small children, a lover not a fighter, brave anyway, very forgiving...

And has anyone one noticed that, considering gender in Lorne's species is somewhat...different than in humans, we don't actually know what his sexuality is? He does mention at one point he'd date Cordy in a heartbeat if her taste ran to his type. This means we could ship him with ANYBODY without messing with canon.

You're missing the end of chapter 55. It's there on FFN, but not here on TTH. Thought I'd let you know. :)

Hi! I've been avoiding this story for awhile because it seemed so weird, and I tend to only read stories where the main focus is on Buffy or Harry.... but I decided to give this a try and I am so glad I did. you are fantastic. I've having so much fun reading this! and you have the best Anya-voice I've read in fanfiction. ever. loving it!

I'm going to go read more, now!

I don't know why the site decided I hadn't read this before, but I cheerfully reread the whole darn thing, and loved it still. Dear author, I do hope you will come back and craft new masterpieces for us someday. This was a delight. :)

awesome story well written

It's an odd thing but I generally prefer Harry Potter fanfiction over the canonical books and your epic novel (one and a half times as long as "The Order Of The Phoenix") illustrates why. Joanne Rowling doesn't seem that interested in the inner emotional life of any of her characters apart from Harry and he comes across as pretty unlikeable. Whereas one gets a stronger sense of character in "The Eighth Weasley". Anyways, I enjoyed the conceit that in the Buffyverse, Rowling's novels are pallid imitations of the real thing thus giving you a good rationale for fleshing out her characters. The Willow-Hermione pairing was a delight and the Buffy-Snape thing was touching and funny. I hope you will find more time in the future to write excellent stuff like this.
