What an interesting take on the superman costume idea. I especially like how superheroes are just relics of the past. It gives the story a certain atmosphere that reminds me a bit of The Watchmen. The writing was pretty good, and I especially loved your Willow when they were all meeting in their costumes before going out. She was spot on and incredibly funny. I also like your Xander. You write him well, even if we didn't see much of him in this story. After all, Clark came out to play pretty quick. I'm looking forward to reading the next story in the series to find out why he suddenly switched from no powers to powers just with a few memories.

It was an early work so one of the things I still like about it was how I did Willow in the scene as well.
You are the first one that said the story reminded them of Watchmen. I think it works though, maybe that was somewhere in the back of my mind when I wrote this story.
As to why Xander when from no powers to powers, well he just needed a little boost, and the spell gave it to him.
Lots of fun to read. I seen Xander as Superman, but this is the first with the JSA - nice twist. Cordy as Bast, and Willow as a Banshee, and the way Ripper Giles were great.

Wow! What a wonderful story. I haven't read it up until now because I thought it was just another "weird Buffy Halloween" story. But this is a really great story. You've done an excellent job with all the characters and their motivations. I hope Bast is really Cordy because the idea of the Goddess Cordelia just boggles my mind. Lol! I also really like how you've merged the DCverse with the Buffyverse. I can't wait to read more.

Yes Bast is Cordy, something I tried to establish in an earler part. I'm very happy that you are enjoying the story. I have two, prehaps three parts to go before I finishe this and start on the next story in witch we will see how some of the other Golden Age heroes faired into the 90's. Just so you know the second stop will be Gotham to find Bruce.
I love this fic and I have to say I loved the mask crossover that you added. I also liked the fact that you mentioned the pain that Giles' look promised, not many people seem to hit on that when they are writing a halloween segment. Thanks and more soon I hope.

Well the next part of Endless will be next, then Marvel, then back to this. I find that rotating it like this stops me from burning out of a particular story.
I'm glad that you liked the Mask part, I was worried that it wouldn't come across very well in the story. If you know him you can thank Paradigm Shifter for requesting the Mask when I was bouncing ideas off of him.
I just hope you enjoy him meeting the transformed Cordy as much as you enjoyed Jonothan Mask.
