Nice quick fic. I would love to see more. I read this once a while back and then while reading Dangers Untold and Hardships Unnumbered by Renelf, I saw your story mentioned and came back to read it again. I still like it and think it would be fun to see more.

Review of chapter "Goblin Talk" from Cutiepie
That Toby must have been some child. I wouldn't imagine that he would have remembered a single thing, considering he wasn't even walking at the time he was abducted. But then again, perhaps Jareth came back to visit occasionally, or maybe his half-sister's friends (why can't I remember her name?) or something. =] Whichever, I liked your 20 minutes. Thanks for writing!
Comments from author:
Actually, the movie implies that Sarah and her new friends would have contact over the years. I also can't imagine Jareth leaving her alone forever- too tempting a target. In my mind, the reasonable assumption would be that at some point, Toby would have contact with them, or that Sarah would explain what she'd done to him, intentionally or otherwise. Sarah seemed to be very interested in making amends when she finally got him back and that would be a logical step for me.

As for traumatic memories, whether or not he actively remembered things, it's quite likely that images from that distressing an even would have left indelible marks on his psyche. If you couple that with possible later interactions with Sarah's friends, then it's entirely reason from my point of view that he may need therapy. COuple that with a study of goblins in literature for his graduate degree, the images would probably create themselves without much work on his part.

Glad you enjoyed the 20 mins regardless.
