Sorry this is interestign but damn everyone said Buffy was over protective. I get that. But then Angel freaks when she lets go. Get real, seriously Dawn not stupid and at 18 she was an adult. Hypocrite much Angel. I mean Buffy was 17. Seriously I get he is pissed and rightly so but really he should not bitch because hello he left them all hang when he ran to LA.

I've read a lot of your stories, but I've just now gone back and read this one. Its great, a perfect little snap shot into Angel's head. I have to say for a first fanfiction, I'm jealous. Now I have to go read your Parent trap fic. :)

How fun! Angel's take on Buffy's inherent (and not necessarily faulty) selfishness was interesting. Having to take care of someone, be fully responsible for them, as Buffy is for Dawn, is an exhausting and, well, let's face it, sometimes unfullfilling prospect. So I liked how you wrote about Buffy trying to do something "unselfish" for Dawn, letting her go off to Europe all on her lonesome, which was actually giving Buffy a break from trying to help Dawn get all of her ingredients together. Don't get me wrong, I think Buffy is a terrific character---and your fiction showed off one of the often neglected (by fanfic writers) aspects of her personality---her obliviousness. Thanks so much for writing!
