Review of chapter "Tornado*" from Lucinda
blinks in surprise - no reviews? That doesn't sound at all right.

Honestly, I wasn't certain how much I'd like the fic, as Fred had never been one of my most favorite characters (nothing against her, just schedule conflicts didn't let me see her much) and as mentioned, we don't see much of Shacklebolt at all. But I have faith in your writing, so I figured that I'd check it out.

I liked it. It was sweet but not nauseating, we got to see the nasty legacy of mama Black, the down side of people raised inthe wizarding world, and the complications of technology. The struggles were frustrating without being overwhelming, which was good. Even the charaters that we only glimpsed were portrayed vividly and felt entirely like themselves.

congratulations, and I hope the fic was well received.

I appreciate the read even though it's not up your alley. It was tough for me to write, tougher than most anything, and I wonder if that translated to reading it. I'm not sure 'well recieved' is the right way to phrase it, but the recipient liked it well enough which is good enough for me. Thanks so much for the review- it means a lot.

Review of chapter "Tornado*" from (Past Donor)Laney
As you know, I don't usually read HP crossovers but since it was you I decided to give it a go.

And I'm really glad I did. This was fabulous. I loved it. The dynamic you created between the two characters was great and the angst... oh it was wonderful! It was really well done and different from all of the other HP crossovers I read. (I especially liked that Harry and Co weren't in it). Great job. And from a POV from a person who hasn't read the books, this was an easy read.

Comments from author:
Yes, Harry et al. show up in entirely too many fics for my taste. There's a whole world there, not just the golden brats. Delighted you enjoyed,

Review of chapter "Tornado*" from CinnamonGrrl
Honestly, I can't believe you managed to come up with a premise that worked for this wacked-out pairing, but if anyone could... great job, love. Your deft touch brought it to life, made it interesting, made it work. The humour was fun, and helped to lighten up what could have been a glum little tale. A pleasure to read half a dozen times during beta, lovely to watch it take its final shape. Proud to have been a part of it.
Comments from author:
glum, eh? i'm not sure i saw it as glum, perhaps a bit desperate, but it was set during OotP. Glad you thought it turned out alright.

Wow. Thank you houses! I'm in awe. You have Fred's character down pat, and Kingsley was what I imagined him to be. I loved the whole over-protected-brother thing Angel has. I also love that. You had the conflict of the whole muggle living in a wizards house well written. Again, thank you and I hope you had fun writing the challenge!
Comments from author:
You are most welcome. I'm happy that Kingsley was how you imagined him, and that Fred's integration into wizarding society was up to par. While challenging, I did very much enjoy writing it.
