This is superbly written, and a brilliant story. It ties the universes together seamlessly, and explains the different types of magic in a cohesive and well-thought out way.
It's just a pity that it is unfinished. :(

I understand your reasons for killing Remus, but I think you may have broken my brain. Also, very very good story. It's been awhile since I've read a story that included all of the buffy/hp world with an actual goal, and this is one of the best yet. Though I think I've seen some updating requests around? Great story! The twists and turns and the different view on the plotting of Elder Sinclair, Dumbledore, and Voldemort is absolutely wonderful! Even the way the scoobies/slayers found the wizarding world and the Covenant is very realistic within the genre/HP/Buffy universe. I was on pins and needles waiting to see not only the Order of the Phoenix's reaction to the Council safehouse, but the Council's to Kreacher. One of the best written stories/crossovers I've read in a while. Only I can't give it a 10 because..... NO UPDATES for 4 Years??!!!! I know you have written some other stories within the last year or so, so it appears you ARE still writing and haven't dropped off the face of the planet. Please, please please, uopate this thing! If you have stopped writing (a bad thing) , lost interest in this story, decieded not to continue, or are posting on another site, please post either an author's note to this for your loyal readers, or add a note to your profile. Or at least give it up for adoption!

*sics plotraptor on author* Dude, this has not been updated for TOO BLOODY LONG! Someone mentioned it on a list of great abandoned stories.
One major disagreement is your handling of the Fideleus. The ENTIRE IDEA is that it removes knowledge of a certain place so that *everyone in the world* forgets it even EXISTS! No matter how weird wand magic feels, it should remain a Secret.
The only legit ways I've seen of penetrating a Fidelous are: "lead-pipe cryptography" (find the Secret Keeper and force him to tell you The Secret), and Massive Area Destruction (blow up the area you suspect)

I reread this story today. It is still one of the most interesting Buffy/Harry Potter xovers out there. I love it a lot. The only thing missing is more Buffy but I can see why she playing second fidle. Your oc are really interesting. Hell I even like Kennedy which is no small accoplishment. So any chance of you coming back to this world and finishing it up?
