Very good story. I noticed that you listed this story as complete. This story is very enjoyable as one chapter, but I hope you change your mind and write more. Please? These two seem like such a cute couple, I'd love to see them go on an adventure.

I love the idea of Fred ending up in Middle-Earth. (I recently decided to do that myself, and after posting the first part of mine, I decided to see if anyone else had put her there before. I'm certainly glad I did, because I really like this.) I hope you're able to write more of this.

Yay, Haldir! Gets a 10. Fred's internal dialogue was perfect, too. I could almost hear her saying it. Perfect!

I like portals. I think they're neat and lead to adventures and discovery. Of course, I don't have any personal experience of one, so maybe I shouldn't say that Fred is wrong about them.

She totally broke down. Course she's having a bad day and that explains it all. At least she didn't break a bone or catch an illness or cause an illness.

So how does she adjusts?
Does she dare try to explain physics to an elf?
Didn't she read up on portals in case an evil portal/vortex tried to suck her in again? How are AI dealing with Fred missing? Did someone get a vision of this happening?

Okay start. You have a solid middle and end to the FanFic. It is interesting how the story delves into of Haldir's and Fred's thoughts at points. It is a shame that you are not writing more.

Nicely done. Good way to have the LA crew interact with LotR, and your portrayal of Fred is spot on. I do hope this continues.
